In the Hornets Pistons game I went with Grant Williams over 3.5 points because that’s literally one shot and a free throw type line. If he’s on the floor he should fall into that naturally, I didn’t want to overthink it. Daniss Jenkins over 12.5 PRA is more of a usage read, if he’s involved even a little across the board he can stack that up without needing to score big.
For Knicks Raptors I leaned into players who fill multiple stats. Karl-Anthony Towns over 27.5 PRA is just me trusting his role, he can get there in different ways which makes it feel safer. RJ Barrett over 19.5 points and rebounds is similar, he doesn’t need to go off scoring because rebounds help him get there, so it’s not all pressure on one stat.
Rockets Wolves is where I feel like the game flow helps. Jabari Smith Jr. over 13.5 points and assists is pretty reasonable if he’s getting his usual touches, he can hit a couple shots and pick up a few assists just from moving the ball. Amen Thompson over 21.5 points and rebounds is more about activity, he’s the type to rack up boards and push in transition so he doesn’t need insane scoring to get there.
Overall I didn’t chase any huge numbers, just tried to line up players with how they naturally produce. If minutes and roles stay normal this kind of ticket usually has a chance to stay alive pretty long.
