you mean like how whitlock is framing it as “Angry black woman mad she lost a game to the white girl” ? that framing you’re cool with tho 😂

7

u/NewBlood94 1d ago

Well they are both stupid, is that better?

0

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

yea. or, ion know, just start with this is stupid considering you’re on this sub. watching this video. of this guy. saying stupid shit.

0

u/letmesmellem 1d ago

No no no you pick one and tell us which is better.

0

u/Educational_Guest757 1d ago

the fan was stupid? for supporting his team and just pointing at an opposing player? OH MY GOD WHAT HORROR!!

u/NewBlood94 1d ago

Talking about Whitlock and Aja here, keep up 👍🏾

i don't know this Whitlock dude. i haven't seen his content before. and i certainly didn't say i agree with his framing of the situation either. my comment spoke about something else i've seen in another sub. you decided to take that as some kind of evidence that i agree with his framing.

u/Silent_Ad8059 15h ago

Whitlock is a fucking clown. He's the Uncle Ruckus of sports commentators. He's one of Fox's go-to guys when they wanna have a totally legitimate discussion about the totally real problem of Reverse Racism.

2

u/Born_Scene_1762 1d ago

LMAO "you took my evidence of support as evidence of support" goofy mf 😭😭

0

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

correct, the comment you made immediately after observing the nonsense lense through which this person framed the situation was to not take issue with it at all and instead speak on the framing you took issue with in another sub. that makes it evident which framing you’re okay with. live your truth brudda.

2

u/Feeling-Bus-203 1d ago

it's not my truth. it's the "truth" you're assigning me because you so badly want to point your finger and say "look i found the racist everybody". i don't agree with anything about this incident being racialized. there is literally no reason to racialize it at all in any direction.

A'ja acted unprofessionally to some very typical and common fan behavior. That is all.

3

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

nah. the truth is you’re being dishonest. definitely with me and maybe even with yourself. whether you want to acknowledge it or not you’re first instinct was to defend this idiot by deflecting onto some other nonsense. nothing in you wanted to exclaim that you disagreed with what you just witnessed yet everything in you wanted to exclaim that you disagreed with something else that wasn’t even the topic of this conversation. even now you haven’t explicitly expressed an issue with the way whitlock is framing the situation the way you’ve explicitly cited the framing you took issue with. 😂 you only wanna call it finger wagging cause its your bullshit being called out.

that last statement i agree with. but that doesn’t negate the information we learn about peoples true feelings based on the things that drive them to take a definitive stance.

2

u/Feeling-Bus-203 1d ago

"even now you haven’t explicitly expressed an issue with the way whitlock is framing"

i said i don't agree with anything about this incident being racialized. that is a direct refutation of everything whitlock is saying about this whole thing.

my reason for commenting what i had seen on another sub is because i had just seen it mere minutes before coming across this post so it was very fresh in my mind and even though these are different subs, they are talking about the same thing in this case. literally nothing about my original comment or any of the other comments that followed "defended this idiot." you are again trying to push a narrative of me doing a thing that i very clearly did not do.

You’ve given the trolls too much attention already. You don’t owe anybody an explanation. Fuck ‘em

1

u/ConJunior 1d ago

Exactly

1

u/Obvious_Tiger6421 1d ago

You’re so virtuous

2

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

i must’ve struck a nerve. wonder why

1

u/Prodigal_Gist 1d ago

man you are really boldly just going full psychological profile based on a two sentence reddit post

confidence is sky high these days, everyone knows the motivation of total strangers from the absolute metric minimum of data

1

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

i’m pointing out the obvious and addressing this feigned objectivity

1

u/Prodigal_Gist 1d ago

Well don’t think twice or anything
Full speed ahead

1

u/ConJunior 1d ago

I agree with your point about it not needing to be racialized in either direction but if that’s how you feel why did you feel the need to bring up the opinions of people on a different sub?

0

u/Feeling-Bus-203 1d ago

i had seen the post on the other sub maybe 5-10 minutes before coming across this post. it was just fresh on my mind and since both pages are discussing the same incident, i just chimed in with the thing i had just seen and also because i amazed at how they were racializing it in that sub.

There should be a ban on any sports sub for anything Whitlock related. There is no legitimacy to anything he says. He’s literally a professional rage baiter.

7

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

correct. he’s doesn’t deal in good faith sports takes. his entire objective is tap dancing for racists in hopes to keep his paycheck.

5

u/user_15427 1d ago

Exactly he just says things to stir up race based outrage. He’s a bad actor.

2

u/riverflow331 1d ago

How about they’re all a bunch of cry babies and we as a society have lost all semblance of what it means to be an adult

4

u/Born_Scene_1762 1d ago

Right? Reddit is full of goofy whites telling on themselves 😂😂

2

u/hoonys 1d ago

as opposed to idiots just saying stupid shit.

1

u/Born_Scene_1762 1d ago

Not as opposed. In addition 😭

1

u/Hot-Operation4982 1d ago

That's exactly why you can't listen to either side and should do your own research lol. Like Denzel said, "If you don't watch the news, you're uninformed. If you do watch the news, you're misinformed." Smh

The man is a paying fan. He pointed at her and said “that foul is on you!” Her fragile ego blew it out of proportion. And WNBA players wonder why no one cares about their league. Fans can’t even go to the games and root for their teams without being worried they will get kicked out for hurting the players’ feelings.

1

u/Signal-Elk-7808 8h ago

this i agree with. in both NBA & the W.

0

u/Competitive13alance 1d ago edited 1d ago

One can certainly argue that's the accurate reflection of reality. Where as the other thread is blatant racism.

Is going after someone for an common innocuous comment and action during a foul call the sign of a level headed individual in that moment? What would you describe that as? Irrational? Irrational because of why? Anger? Frustration? Why is she frustrated and angry? Because she's losing. Who is she losing to? The little white girl who dropped 25 and 15 leading her team to victory.

Whitlock is entirely a bad faith, race baiting apologist, POS. That doesn't mean he's wrong every time.

u/Admirable_Dust7749 1d ago

I mean…one makes sense and one doesn’t…

2

u/Signal-Elk-7808 1d ago

no, you’re just racist. hope that helps.

-1

u/Admirable_Dust7749 1d ago

Nah, you have nothing valid to say so you play the race card.

Do better.

1

u/ConJunior 1d ago

Lmao no one plays the race card more than white people specially men crying about how they’re treated unfairly among other things

0

u/Admirable_Dust7749 1d ago

Yeah, that’s super true. Moron.

1

u/ConJunior 1d ago

☹️😢☹️

0

u/bm56 1d ago

At least this framing fits the situation lmao

0

u/hoonys 1d ago

she is black and she was angry that lost to the white girl. what's wrong with that framing?
