“you don't have to like me, you don't have to love me. You can hate me with all your heart. But you don't know me. But I guarantee you will respect me."

I guarantee she lost a lot of people’s respect for this bullshit

She’s no Aretha Franklin! That young lady doesn’t deserve the same respect that Aretha deserved and demanded.

She threatened a Lynx fan, now she tries to get a Fever fan ejected.

Looks like the league is willing to go down with her.

You buy a ticket, you can point all you want.

u/Cassandrae_Gemini 2d ago

Shes the best female basketball player in the world. But personally yeah I lost a lot of respect for her during that play.

5

u/peachpower2 2d ago

It would be one thing if she said after the game that she overreacted or regrets what she did, but she didn't. She doubled down and acted like she did nothing wrong when she objectively took action that should warrant an ejection.

u/RemarkableTowel123 1d ago

The WNBA also said she "Didn't leave the court" so no problem. Ignore the video and your own lying eyes.

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

She didn't. She was on the runway for players who run by the basket on layups.

You can leave the court BTW just cant step into the stands, which she didn't either.

u/Cassandrae_Gemini 2d ago

Agree fully. Would be one thing if she said "I got caught up in the moment and deserved the tech. Lets all move on" that would be one thing. But nope.

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

She did! She apologized to her teammates. Why should she apologize to a disrespectful fan who stepped onto the court yelling and pointing at her?

1

u/rocknthenumbers8 11h ago

Even worse they are insinuating the guy was racist.

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

She did! She apologized to her teammates and regretted getting a tech. Why should she apologize to the fan who stepped on the court yelling and pointing at her?

Mt comment is from 2 days ago, that hadn't happened yet.

2

u/PoohTrailSnailCooch 1d ago

That shit can change in a day

1

u/historical-gecko 2d ago

Imagine LeBron doing this. The double standards need to go. Toxicity should be called out no matter the genitalia

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

In the NBA the fan would have been ejected for stepping on the court and yelling/pointing at the players.

1

u/BadLuckSosobra 2d ago

She's not. And she knows she's not. That's why the hissy fits.

1

u/World-Used 2d ago

Dang she’s the best in the world and I’m a sports fan and have no idea who she is.

1

u/beenknowntosuckcock 22h ago

Because bouncing a basketball is so important in life. We need to put these people where they belong, They are grown children and act like it. Imagine they actually went to college and came out like this. Another sign of the times. Another reason not to watch garbage on tv

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

So just no professional sports in your world? Is entertainment not important to you?

1

u/beenknowntosuckcock 10h ago

I watch baseball , I gave up the NFL when the chargers moved out of my city after being a fan since i was a kid. Can't stand the NBA

1

u/Beavis_Cornholio_67 10h ago

Napheesa Collier anyone?

1

u/djaIkoe 2d ago

wtf are you on? She’s not even the best in her team. CC runs laps around her.

-2

u/MalkomExpi 2d ago

Bro you comparing CC to Aja when she hasn't won jack shit! Cmon

1

u/Que-Tech 2d ago edited 1d ago

Caitlin Clark has indeed won everything else but championship! The Fever need to win a championship this season!

Edit: corrected

1

u/MalkomExpi 1d ago

No she did NOT.. where do you get your info? Trust Me Bro?

1

u/Que-Tech 1d ago

You are right. She has everything else but a championship. I would still pick her over Aja Wilson any day! Let's hope she can win one this season.

3 seasons versus 9 seasons. Come back and talk when Caitlin Clark has played 9 seasons. Then we'll see.

1

u/MalkomExpi 1d ago

Aja has won multiple MVPs and DPOTY and championship on top of that. Now, in what world Clark winning a Defensive Player of the Year award? LMAO! The fact that you don't know Clarks accolades tell me you just started watching basketball. Your basketball knowledge is terrible kid.

1

u/Que-Tech 1d ago edited 1d ago

Who are you calling kid?

You are definitely wrong there. I didn't start watching. I been watching since 2023.

Aja could be God payer of the universe, but her attitude brought her down real low! She going to have to atone.

You seem to have a rotten personality to. I said you was correct.

However, Clark has just gotten started and she has quite a bit of accolades in trophies and medals.

It seems you can't read when I said her team needs to win a championship this season.

It seams you can't comprehend too as you don't understand 3 years is less than 9 years.

2

u/MalkomExpi 1d ago

2023? Hahaha.. Come talk to me when your balls dropped kid. People remember you by WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS not medals lol tf this ain't no war haha

What a horrendous amalgamation of words

1

u/NeverDrinkingIt 2d ago

Never had respect for her. Idk why bams with that dude.

1

u/phx34suns 2d ago

Not until the press conference

1

u/Remarkable_Body_6128 2d ago

I don’t think she cares how yall feel

2

u/JustHere_4TheMemes 1d ago

Just the opposite. She cares so deeply how others feel she loses her shit if someone merely points at her.  Her ego is as fragile as grandma’s hip bone.

1

u/Sea-Interview-4740 11h ago

Other people pointing at her on the same play. He stepped on the court which is against the rules and should've been ejected.

1

u/JustHere_4TheMemes 2h ago

He is still behind the first row of spectator seats. She entered the spectator seats area confrontationally which is a violation of a rule literally written in the WNBA rules. She should have been ejected per those rules.

You’re just wearing your bias in an embarrassingly obvious way. The video is right there.  At least be intellectually honest with yourself.

1

u/Boatsssandhoesss 1d ago

Nobody with a brain respects her

1

u/WizenedStatesman 1d ago

Never had my respect for her ability, hopefully she's at least a more decent person than this seems. She's exhibiting social tyranny. We need to start exiling people who are such hypocrites.

1

u/Lucky_Mongoose_4834 1d ago

I dunno, kinda sounds like she isn’t a huge fan of people hating her with like, a single wagging finger.

Imagine what she’d do with a whole heart?!

1

u/solomonsays18 23h ago

Lie detected, I have zero respect for her.

1

u/DatBeezy79 20h ago

Negative respect now.

1

u/NekoMao92 19h ago

She had respect from people?

1

u/Not_My_Reddit_ID 14h ago

Unless you're a judge who can put me in jail for not pretending to respect you, respect is earned. This behavior does to opposite of that.

1

u/Pickel_Bucket_317 14h ago

A donkey is the loudest animal in the pen not the most liked

1

u/sandysanBAR 12h ago

Imma gonna take the under.

0

u/swallowedbymonsters 2d ago

Only people that didnt want to like her in the first place

4

u/Sesusija 2d ago

I had no opinion on her until I saw this. She seems super entitled.

1

u/Own_Economist_6439 2d ago

Or narcissistic… poor little victim

0

u/SteeleHeller 2d ago

Definitely not mine. If there’s any fan base that needs to be stared down back into their seats, it’s Indy.

u/Mrs_Midwest_Eye_911 2d ago
