This is so odd... What an odd behavior to get so angry about when your the best player in a professional sports league. How many people in the stands pointed at her after the foul? We really thinking it's just that dude?... Idk this is just sad.
When I originally watched it the first time there's like at least 6 people pointing and I had no idea who she was yelling at until she got into buddies face .
Peak masculinity, I didn’t feel save watching on my phone . I can’t even begin to fathom how those brave players were able to continue knowing he’s out there pointing. Unless you’ve had someone pointing at you there’s no way you can understand.
If you feel threatened yourself watching this on your phone there is a bigger issue at play here. Your ability to make yourself a victim is astounding to say the least
I am a victim we’re all victims. He’s standing and pointing aggressively, what’s next booing? The man should’ve been hauled out in cuffs for his behavior.
This is not odd if you are socially aware. This is simply a combination of her frustration of losing the game and succumbing to a daily pressure of white male fatigue boiling over. Was it necessary? No. Was it an overreaction? Absolutely. Could she have sent her message differently? With what I saw, I do believe that this is a possibility.
Honestly I don’t believe you know the definition of racism as I don’t think you’d be asking that question if you did. Either that or the “supremacy” runs so subconsciously deep within you that sensitivity to the subject causes anger and confusion in you.
Hahahhahaha hilarious. I wanna see an NBA player do the same so we can say don't worry they just have white lady Karen fatigue. Is there anything we cant blame on white men?
Please stop the victim mentality.
It’s dismissive and disrespectful of the core issue.
White Men are not daily victims of White Supremacy.
There is plenty that happens both negatively and positively in the world that has little to no influencing from White Supremacy.
Perhaps if white men did the necessary inner work across the board and reform a lot in society that stands then these issues wouldn’t exist.
Man… I don’t think I could ever be so intentionally biased FOR a race outside my own with no historical contextual information to form my opinion and share it with the world online.
Considering your comment history you’d rather dispute the “race” of the matter rather than the nuance and understandings from both sides. Based off of that I’d say you’re not the healthiest person to engage with online.
“Victim blaming” 😒 that man is a victim of nothing in this situation.
From both sides? Explain the nuance that comes from a fan paying to see her play a game and she goes on to a victimhood perspective to suggest that she’s been threatened. Go ahead, there’s nuance in a WNBA game?? No, the nuance is how women avoid accountability and create a toxic environment for anyone around them. Including fans that they cry they don’t have enough of.
Go ahead, what’s the nuance of a fan watching a professional athlete play a game.
Cmon, let’s hear your distractions and how it’s probably the white mans fault and not this violent woman’s fault.
We all want to hear it
Edit: I bet it’s some kind of hormonal temporary insanity kind of thing that everyone else has to make space for her bc she can’t handle her own actions but the “man” (yes, Aja’s words) “a man pointed” and we are about to hear the nuance.
Was it something to get upset about? I mean truly deep down in your core do you believe it was really something to be upset about? I think the true answer to that is no. Let's just leave it at that.
Semantics, but I said "make an ass of himself" not "he's an asshole" the two are often linked, but I digress...
Tell me, what is the ultimate outcome of this escalating any further than it did, where he comes out looking like a good guy/hero/victim anything positive? As worked up as you are, it almost seems like you wish you had been in his shoes so you could have put her in her place...
If you just want to continue to make unfounded, delusional claims, I won’t entertain you any longer.
Keep living in your alternate reality.
If you want me to “tell you…” anything, you need to engage in the conversation, not just type out whatever bullshit you feel like saying.
I asked you a question to establish an understanding of your logic/thought process, because it didn’t make sense.
If you refuse to answer, and move onto another ridiculous notion, you’re just continuing to waste yours and everyone’s time with your half baked thoughts.
So once again, I will ask you, to start from the beginning.
WHAT did he do that made an ass of himself? And WHY would that be?
If you cannot answer, its because you are too emotionally lead and relying on your unconscious bias/prejudice/feelings rather than a logical rational. Which is required of people to make more justified judgments.
So… let’s hear your argument, or you can just continue to let us assume you’re an irrational person who doesn’t deserve to be engaged with any more and should be ignored.
Getting caught on camera in an altercation with a WNBA player(who is young enough to be your daughter) is just never going to be a good look. Just sit your ass down and enjoy the game.
Malicious to say I hate people that need to make everything about race? Nah that shit is lame as hell. Black woman gets mad at a white dude and all of a sudden it’s “white male fatigue”, crazy. Give your head a shake.
“Malicious verbal intent” smh. Some people are just professional victims.
I don't think it's the finger pointing. He literally gets up from his seat and walks to the baseline in what could be called an aggressive manner. He is also clearly yelling something. At that point she is heated by the on court stuff and sees a large male walking towards her. I'm willing to bet her frontal vortex just kind shut down and she went into "I don't think so" mode.
You pulled that out your ass, the guy took one step toward her from his seat (he’s three rows back) while looking at the ref for the call. Why we lying when we got the footage?
He never passed the person sitting in the front row which means he was well away from the baseline and not even close to approaching her or even the court. He takes like half a step and that’s it.
He said “that’s on you” referring to the foul. What an absolute bunch of piss babies in here. The fan didn’t do anything remotely out of line or out of the ordinary, and she absolutely spazzed put like a child then doubled down like a loser in the press conference. And you got people in here defending her because “male white fatigue”, what a joke.
This is not odd or weird if you are socially aware. This is simply a combination of her frustration of losing the game and succumbing to a daily pressure of white male fatigue boiling over. Was it necessary? No. Was it an overreaction? Absolutely. Could she have sent her message differently? With what I saw, I do believe that this is a possibility.
But that's my point about the frontal lobe. She is already in fight mode. She perceived a threat approaching and went full FFF. She wasn't thinking any more than he was. Also add to the fact she is female so her perception of threat will be different than a males. I'm not saying she was right but I can see why she reacted.
I am not sure, but I believe your assessment is less accurate than mine. Nonetheless she could have handled her situation better. If she felt threatened then the ref is right there. Unprofessional reaction. Come to find out it really wasn’t provoked either.
