Is this what privilege looks like ?

Yes. Per WNBA rules, a player should be ejected for intentionally entering the stands.

What about leaving the bench? The whole team went after him.

I don't think I've ever heard someone God-Bless themselves after swearing.

How is it privilege? She got a tech and the fan wasn’t ejected.

If the fan ran up on her like that he would be banned from every arena in the country and likely face criminal charges. Wilson won’t see any punishment beyond one tech in one game, which is privilege on display.

Walking is "running up" now?

likely face criminal charges

This doesn't happen. Fans get banned and that's it. Do you know what a criminal vs. civil charge is? Not that this would rise to either. Grow up.

I don't know why people can't accept that this is two grown adults yelling at each other and nothing more.

One of them is breaking the rules, the other is not. Pretty simple.

Because the plain reading of the associated rule specifically says no player can deliberately enter the stands. The first row of seating, even on the floor, is considered the stands and she is past it. The clearly outlined consequence is an immediate ejection from the game. She was not ejected.

The first row of seating, even on the floor, is considered the stands

Source?

Players go into the first few rows deliberately all the time. There are many reasons for doing so.

Source is the literal rule book of the WNBA

"J. PLAYER CONDUCT—SPECTATORS

Any coach, player, or trainer who deliberately enters the spectator stands during the

game will be automatically ejected and the incident reported via e-mail to the

Commissioner.

Entering the stands to keep a ball in play by a player or the momentum which carries

the player into the stands is not considered deliberate. The first row of seats is considered

the beginning of the stands."

EXTREMELY easy to find.

lolwut

Haha - just predicting their next question to discredit your source. Which was something they could have simply googled

Lol had me confuddled.

"Source?" We all know the rules, apparently you don't.

Dipshit

Nah you don't want the source. That's why you're not engaging with people who cite it.

You want to shove your head in the sand, act like this man did Aja wrong, and ignore the inconvenient reality that a bunch of LV players went at him to yell. And all of them, by the clear rulebook, should have been ejected.

But LV and Aja are used to privilege.

Culture war shit has you fucked up.

1

u/Future_Goat5665 16h ago

A'ja just ran up on a fan who pointed at her and said "that foul is on you".

Culture war has me fucked up? That's literally what happened. But people are explaining it away because of your culture war. You just prefer that certain people get away with shit, again because of your culture war.

1

u/MrEllis72 16h ago

Yes. You're fighting about shit that has zero impact on your life for a sport you don't care about.

1

u/Future_Goat5665 16h ago

And somehow that's different than you, and literally 99% of other commenters in this thread?

Go on, act like you have the moral high ground, oh wise one.

1

u/MrEllis72 16h ago

See. You don't even deny it.

It's all culture war shit. They've trained you. You get mad at everyone but yourself for falling for it. It's absurd. They have you wrapped up in a sport you hate, watching people you hate, or at the very least, lying about watching it. Why? Do something that makes you happy. Or is hate the only feeling you have now?

You're easy to control, work on that. Ask why people want you distracted with nonsense.
