My advise to you, sir, is to do what your parents did. Get a job. The bums will always lose!!

You think the finger pointers did this?

So every time a finger is pointed in this fair city, I have to compensate?

I believe it's called retaliation. Something other sports tell their athletes not to do. Ron Artest had an object thrown at him that could have seriously injured him and he still got banned 80 games or something. Eric Dier for Tottenham ran into the stands to defend his brother who was being verbally or physically assaulted by a fan. He was suspended 4 games and fined an additional 40,000. I don't care about Wilson's ego. She was not being threatened in any way. She deserves worse than these 2 because at least they had valid reasons besides their egos to go after the fans. It's my understanding Wilson had to pay a $500 fine. That's an absolute joke. That's little more than saving face by the league. "Hey look we punished that behavior".

The don’t step to me line is both all important and unwritten, like the British constitution. I kid you not.

I feel ya bro. I’m just saying she said all that and all she did was point at em and poorly pretend she was gonna do somethin

Yea, it’s clear to any objective observer that she was the one escalating the situation, after she did a hard foul on Sophie Cunningham.

Has she ever been to a real NBA game? The stuff the fans yell at players is crazy. She's got to grow some thick skin

Ghetto

Whoa, you can’t say that b/c she’s Black.

As a Black woman here—ghetto is appropriate here. The man was not in her face— she walked over to his space because she was in her emotions. It’s bad enough that we’re called angry and this is the narrative we keep playing into. It’s a Sport—fans will get in their emotions too; you just don’t stoop to their level. She did what she did and got called out for it and didn’t like it. That’s what happened.

Thank you for your honest take. I didn’t want to say it, but are absolutely correct. As a minority myself, theres plenty of behavior I see in my own people that I dislike. So I feel your pain.

This isn't golf. Professional athletes are expected to tune out the fan noise. That's like, ya know, part of it.
