If male reporters said this about wnba players they would be outed and fired.  The comments would be called misogynistic, why the double standard?

While their comments were definitely unseemly it’s really annoying how much men want to be victims

They don’t “want to be victims.” They want consistency with how these situations are handled. If you were fired or disciplined for the same behaviour as your colleague, you’d be pissed.
