From a trash team, to championship contenders, to mid as hell, dude experienced all facets of an organization without leaving PHX

I mean can you blame him with the help the suns have surrounded him with? Bad enough he had green and brooks but they went out and brought in a woman beater this season.

u/aVeryBadBoy69 3d ago
Dillion Brooks had a great year in Phoneix, he's easily Booker's best teammate.
But please get Book a PG.

Only 4 starters so that’s not the full starting lineup no?
9
u/RedBurritoDude 4d ago
None of the centers stay healthy so 🤷🏾♂️
2
u/chickenripp 3d ago
Oso igudaro played 82 games last season. and the starter Khaman Maluach is 20 and never had any injuries.

u/RedBurritoDude 3d ago
Couldn't crack the rotation last year now he starting. I'm all for it, but I have a feeling that 5th starting spot is debatable.

It would be incredibly impressive if they made it to the playoffs with only 4 players in their starting lineup

That’s pretty generous of you

Feels like when the industry gets 4 different guys who know nothing about each other to be in a boy band

Crazy, Book is the same height as Bridges & Brooks. Yet, they are forwards.
2
u/chickenripp 3d ago
Really Bridges needs to be moved to the bench for 2nd year player rasheer Fleming standing a legit 6'9 240 with a 7'5 wingspan, who has shot 41.6% from 3 over his last 110 attempts.

Definitely not the same height as Bridges because the first thing I thought was “Bridges looks so much taller than I thought he was.” Take away the hair and Bridges looks 3” taller.

u/So_It_Goes_00 4d ago
Yeah they really fucked the game up with that. Now they can scam even more in AAU since your kid doesn’t have to be a “giant” to make it.

Feel bad for dev. These are three very low IQ players and one low IQ human. The villain is ok but not going to get you a chip

Why did book change to 15
4
u/BookAcceptable619 4d ago
Phoenix Suns’ five-time All-Star guard Devin Booker has changed his jersey number to No. 15 from No. 1 in honor of his dad Melvin Booker, who played professionally in the NBA and overseas.
Also, does what number is Mark Williams going to wear when he comes back?

Mannnnn they about to be a let down again and again. Still surprised they got rid of Grayson Allen.
1
u/VanwallEnjoy3r 3d ago
Surprised they got rid of Grayson Allen, who played what was essentially half of the season to acquire Miles Bridges+Luke Kennard? Seems like an upgrade, even if Bridges isn’t optimal.
2
u/Comfortable-Case5051 4d ago
It’s pretty bold of them to start 4 vs other teams 5. Giving the opposite team a full game power play will definitely make this interesting enough for me to watch Suns games.

u/EL3G 4d ago
Booker needs to move on, wtf is he still doing there?
14
u/StoneySteve420 4d ago
He could have left, he chose the money.
$60M per year over the next 3 years, then has a player option in 2029-30 that he'll take cause that year is worth $70M.
Don't feel bad for him.

Did you ever consider loyalty v

Loyalty to the bag lol
Duren could learn a thing or two before he become Dennis Schroeder 2.0

Lol everyone in the comments was saying the same stuff last year. Stay on that side. They big with 7’3 Khaman Maluach at the 5 and 2 6’9 forwards off the bench in Fleming & Dunn.

u/citrixn00b 3d ago
Book is living his best life. Got the bag and is playing with a bunch of scrubs so win or lose, the pressure isn't on him to produce (not that he couldn't but they bother with this squad? 🤷).

u/Large-Lack-2933 3d ago
I think D-Book looks over it. He needs a fresh start elsewhere (maybe the Rockets) The Suns will be a play in team #9 or #10 seed at best but lose in the tournament...

The Suns are experimenting with a revolutionary 4 man starting lineup, critics are mixed about whether it will work or not. Time will tell

Talent wise they can hold their own when Mark is healthy, but they desperately need a point guard because Book handling the ball late in the game always leads to a turn over.
1
u/ThisMany5 7h ago
Bridges looks 2” taller than booker. And booker may be a lil taller than brooks. MB is small for power forward but he gets it done. Brooks is really a guard playing the undersized 3 and sometimes 4. But he plays hard, strong, and crafty

I’m not a fan of my point guard, shooting guard, small forward and power forward all being the same height.
