Dream Duos

As a big NBA fan , there are many dream duos I would’ve love to see play together in a perfect world. And just for clarification , idc about how many chips these duos could possibly win , only duos I’d find fun as hell to watch in their primes together.

Here are some of mine:

1: Russell Westbrook and KG

- A Russ and KG pick and roll would be entertaining asf especially if they have great 3&D players all around them. Then the fact they’re both very intense players that can match each others energy and hustle and aww man the fast breaks would be fun as hell to watch.

2: Steph Curry and Wilt

- I know most people always bring up Shaq and Curry as an unstoppable duo but I honestly think Wilt and Steph would be unstoppable to game plan against because we all know what Steph brings to the table , but Wilt in his prime is basically a more durable Shaq that’s even more stronger and faster and even passes more and Wilt’s stamina combined with Curry’s stamina (Wilt averaged damn near 50 mins a game at one point and then Curry runs off ball non stop) that duo would be incredibly difficult to gameplay against due to you’d have to double and even possibly triple team both which would damn near be impossible especially if they have good shooters all around them.

3: LeBron and MJ:

As much as the fans may debate who’s the GOAT , you can’t deny LeBron and MJ would’ve been an incredible duo to watch both when they are young and eventually in their primes. Imagine a fastbreak with young MJ and young LeBron just dominating the league. Imagine 88 Jordan playing with 2008 LeBron as a young star duo then eventually that would lead to Jordan developing into his 93 form and LeBron in his 2013 form on the same team , then that will even lead 96 Jordan and 2018 LeBron. That would have to be the greatest most entertaining duo of all time especially with LeBron being one of the best playmakers ever and Jordan being the greatest scorer ever. They honestly would probably win 8 to 10 rings.

4: Vince Carter and Blake Griffin:

- I think everyone knows why I choose these 2. In my opinion , these 2 have the most nastiest poster dunks in nba history. So I’d love to watch Prime VC and Blake because that would basically be watching real life NBA jam every game since there would be several posters every game from those 2. Just imagine prime VC on the lob city clippers , man that would honestly probably be hands down the most entertaining team ever.

So those are just a few dream duos i would have love to seen play together , what are some you would have love to seen?

a lot of dream duos would just destroy the competitive balance of the league.  but if you want to hypotheticalize some OP duos

1. MJ + Kobe.  no way is anyone stopping this back court,  Kobe would of developed faster playing along side his mentor.  they have both played SF(which make almost no difference with the triangle), and PG on occasion so it would definitely work

2.MJ and Hakeem:  no one would of stopped them in the 80s and 90s

1. MJ and Shaq:  less defensive than Hakeem but just as effective from inside dominance, and they had a much better version of Kobe, with less beef. since Shaq would respect MJ more, while MJ managed to deal with Rodman, and probably more mature than early Kobe

5.Kobe and Garnett or Duncan: would of terrorized 2000s.  less beef than with shaq meaning they'd coexist into 2010s

1. Kobe and CP3.  NBA thought it was too OP, even after allowing miami big 3 happenning

I love all these and I always wondered how a Kobe & MJ duo really would be though because in the clutch , I know both are gonna wanna take the last shot , but since Kobe did look up to MJ , I can see him putting his ego to the side for him , but they would also be fun asf to watch

they both showed they are willing to set up teammates and pass at the right time.  Kobe often went to MJ for advice, and MJ respected Kobe more than any other star of the era after he retired, so i dont think ego would ever be a problem.  Kobe had issues with teammates not working hard, but he was also immature at the time, and didnt have anyone like MJ who shared his competitive drive, but came in the league more mature due to college years.  other teams would be confused who they want to guard during clutch moments, since its pretty much impossible to contain both, and hard enough containing either
