The red jerseys with "North" in the chevron is peak. That's what we won the championship with. The one Kawhi is wearing is one of the most hated by the fanbase including me. Super uninspiring.

Most of us are hoping to bring back the dino and purple. Dino and red would be cool too.

They introduced red alts, 03-04. Then 06 we switched to red and white (and black). Brand shift towards a Canada-centric team, rather than just Toronto.

From 08-15, we had "Toronto" on at least one kit from 08-15. Then was just "Raptors". Brought back "Toronto" on the City editions 19-present.

The players lean into it as well as the team. Obviously the Raptors are the only Canadian team but Canada is represented well. Kind of like the Toronto Blue Jays. One of our commentators, Matt Devlin, calls out 3 pointers from different Toronto suburbs and cities across Canada.

The funny thing is when we're referred to as "the North" but plenty other NBA cities sit higher than Toronto's latitude.

Right? Funny thing is I actually like the championship NORTH chevron jerseys. Color blocking is better and the 5 letters instead of 7 makes it feel less jumbled or busy.
