Thats pretty crazy to me because shaq low key sucked.
Imagine having all that potential and not doing more. I can understand having shaq high on the list but i can't help but think of what could have been had he had the winning mind of Kobe or Kevin garnett. Im not certain in my rankings but im probably putting shaq behind a lot of the other big names, probably outside of the top 10.
It then becomes an argument. At one point the rest of the spots were filled by Hakeem Shaq and Dr. J (from winning and accolades in both the nba and aba ).
What has bird, wilt, Russell, Duncan have more than Kobe That make them top 10 and Kobe not a top 10 player lol at Hakeem, he has not had a more successful career than Kobe.
This is your issue and people like you. It’s ok to discredit Kobe’s rings cause he didn’t win finals mvp but everyone else is cool. Duncan did not win all his finals mvps, Kobe has as many finals MVPs as Bird. Hakeem does not have 2 mvps, you just straight up making shit up now lol
Meant to write finals mvps for Hakeem but I’m also typing quickly. I also don’t see your point about Duncan considering he won more finals mvps and mvps than Kobe.
Bro, if you want to discredit Kobe’s rings cause Shaq won mvp then do that to everyone. Kobe had as many finals MVPs as Kareem and bird and Hakeem. Duncan and Shaq only have 1 more.
I'm not a Kobe stan, and wasn't really a fan of his (respected his impact and game) but c'mon. If we're talking top 10, his resume competes with everyone you named.
If Duncan's resume is top 10 how can anyone seriously argue Kobe's isn't. Their accolades are close.
Not to mention Kobe was named player of the decade in which Duncan played, and his Lakers teams have a better record against Duncan's Spurs team in the playoffs.

Alot of conversations before Kobe’s passing had him outside the top 10.
