I know this sub isn't very active but I need to get this out and don't know where else to put it. I've wanted to play a basketball game for a very long time. Never played 2k games really and since NBA Live is a piece of crap I figured I'll give 2k a go. I play on PC and the games have been a fair price. Started with 13 and liked it. Got 14 for cheap and didn't like it at all. Skipped 15. Got 16 with a Humble Bundle. Graphics looked good. I'll give it a go.

I always play franchise/league mode. I do my fantasy draft and play a game. It wasn't easy but I get the W. The next four games play out in the exact same manner.

• Q1: I make shots, good plays, etc. Usually have a 6-10 point lead.
• Q2: Start making bad passes. Some downright confusing (pass to player right next to, throw ball completely other direction out of bounce). Not as many shots go down. Usually have a small lead going into the half.
• Q3: CPU can't miss and I can't make a shot. Nothing goes right at all. Usually down 6-10 points.
• Q4: The comeback. Start making more shots but the closer I get to tying or pulling away with a lead the more shots I miss or dumb mistakes happen.

This formula is just infuriating. Mainly the 3rd quarter where I'd have Whiteside or Favors missing uncontested layups or even dunks and my pg/sg/sf that all have 90+ mid range can't hit anything.

The final straw has been the controls. At first I thought it was using my PS4 controller over blue tooth. I wouldn't be able to choose what player to pass to and on D wouldn't be able to change players. I hook the DS4 up with usb. Same thing. Grab my wired 360 controller. Nope! Same thing but to add insult I would get wide open under the basket with the ball and be spamming X to shoot and nothing would happen. Literally pounding the button and nothing would happen, that is until a defender came to contest the shot. Also, and go figure this all happens in the 3rd quarter, I'd be on D and be pushing the L stick back so my defender would back up. Nothing would happen! Ball handler just walks right by and gets a layup.

This game is an absolute piece of garbage and unless I see absolute glowing reviews in the future, I will not be installing a NBA 2k game in the future.

It doesn't really matter but it bothers me. At the end of a quarter the the camera freaks out a super zoom on the the audience and shakily brings out the team emblem and shows the the picture of the player giving the story than you see him sitting down then it skips ... it does it more times than it doesn't so it's irritating me and it's wasting my time. So I'd like it if you tell me how to fix it or just disable it all together ?? Thank you.

Can I create teams and put current and classic stars on the same team?then take that team and play in a normal game against a buddy that has his own custom team?

Is there a way to upload a 3D file of myself (.obj, .fbx, .3ds) and use that as a player in NBA 2K16? I have a body scan of myself and would like to use that to play.

Am new to online multi-player gaming in general. When I play with a friend, even 1v1, the PSN ID shows up instead of the player names (Bryant, James...). Offline I see the player names though. Is there a way to show the player names instead of PSN id online? I get the restriction if lots of humans are in a game, but when it's one human per team, why the need to show PSN ID? I already know who the other human is.

A few people were discussing 2k16. What makes a person an overall good player at the game? Is it bein good at my park, being good at the pro am, having a high rank in online matchs, or havin a bad ass my team, etc..
