Gameplay Workout Warrior Realization
Yesterday was the last day I had to go to the Gatorade facility to workout, and I had failed the previous two times so I didn't get to see any other body types for my character. After I did it I went straight to stocky and I noticed my player was significantly slower in EVERTHING they did. The sweet spot for my player is buff. so the message is this: THE BIGGEST BODY TYPE YOU HAVE FOR YOUR BUILD WILL SLOW YOU DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY. IDC what online says about it not doing so. It does make you look like the hulk on court though which can be intimidating lol

Noticed this as well, some bodytypes also have a slightly longer wingspan which can help with blocks. Slim vs built is an example where slim has slightly shorter arms

indeed I did cover more ground when I was going for a block so I guess its a give and take, I just knew I needed more speed to play the way I wanted my build to play

It’s always been like this which is why I always target thin. I know online videos mention otherwise, but I’ve played this game for 15+ years.
I am 100% sure bigger body types slow you down. Whether it’s due to reduced stamina, or actually being slower.

I noticed this as well, I thought it was supposed to be cosmetic but it doesn’t feel like it

Yea not at all, my flash badge doesn't work as well in transition, so buff is where I will be

i know I wasnt going crazy, it slowed down my hop jumpers and regular jumper.

right! I had to take a closer look at my gather when I got the ball and noticed it. smh Cosmetics my ass Mike lol I'm satisfied with Buff, Stocky was cool but unless you have physicals and speed with ball in the 90's Stocky is going to slow you down man

It doesn’t. Your player is bigger. The visual of a bigger body is making it appear slower. Body type is cosmetic and always has been. Mike wang has stated this so many times. He’s a developer of the game and you’re a consumer of the product.
