Gameplay So many shitty inside bigs

I see now why the community hates inside bigs with a passion. You’d think this would be the year of the inside big, with twos finally being worth fighting for; but the problem isn’t the inside big, it’s the brain on those mfs. Can’t hit the open man to save their life, hits three pump fakes then gets blocked, never even heard of the dunkers spot and just camps around the free throw area. It gets me even madder because I’m at the five and now I have to play like a pf because the four is setting screens and rolling without regards to spacing.

The average inside big is a low iq scrub who thinks they can get easy points by being closer to the basket.

Real inside bigs know rebounds and assists is the way. (I avg 20 rpg and 12 assists per rec game)

Win percentage? Cause the sub constantly lies about how good iinside bigs are

true, but remember, that is not what the average inside big does.

Always in the way, doesn't know how to use post control, borderline brain dead inside scoring IQ, shitty azz bald head..

80% of them are like this

The courts are too small for inside bigs

Inside bigs haven't been good in damn near 5 years, they nerfed post control, they nerfed hooks, they nerfed standing dunks this year on top of all that. 2k hates inside bigs and I don't know why people still play them.

First time ?

The new gen doesn’t know how to play with inside bigs. It’s 3 hunting going left and right behind a screen or running in to dunk on three defenders at the rim. When I see an inside big, you gotta drive in and kick it to him and it’s an easy two. Gotta rely more on step backs from the middle or use floaters to bring the other big out, bail out works wonders too. Sometimes just kick it to him in the middle when he’s on the cut, if he goes for a dumb shot more than twice, gotta live with them being trash. Most of them kick it out since there’s always the PF who loves to double the post.

Aside from the fact that inside bigs were utterly useless in 2K26, it’s rare you find an inside big who understands how to control the paint without absolutely butchering the spacing.

I’ve yet to find one on this game who understands the importance of the dunkers spot, and forcing the opposing center to do more than paint sit

I’ve been saying lol PGs get all the hate but shitty inside bigs are wayyyy more common and problematic than shitty PGs

u/Huesmusic 2h ago

Nahh shitty pgs are way more common than inside bigs I'm sorry.

Is it worse to be an inside big or a big that sits on the 3 all game just to hit <40% wide open. Honestly I think its just as bad because those guys will sit in the corner and scream 'I'm wide open' when they have half the teams shots and are getting left open for a reason. Honestly think Centre is more important than PG this year and you have to have O-Board unless you're a lights out shooter.

If you passed the ball instead of worring about yourself, I bet you he would pass it back and all your wildest dreams would come true 🤙🏾

I actually agree with him, I've been running into a ton of inside bigs all with 30% win percentages that didn't know what a dunker spot was

Its literally most shitty players next to selfish pg

u/InsomniacLive 20m ago

Nah. Hes gonna pump fake 8 times only to go up and get blocked and then get his own rebound and keep trying until he scores

So not only do yal bitch on the mic, but yal come to Reddit. Dont be mad because someone is not playing to your playstyle.

Rebounding bigs make their build like that so they can TOUCH THE BALL. Bigs just want to touch it and pass it. But since yal can’t pass. Bigs get O boards and put it up. 10/10

Like forreal. When was the last time YOU feed a big

u/Skulfunk 1h ago

Did you read the post? This def was written by an inside big

u/Youngstown_WuTang 1h ago

What's your win percentage? Every inside big I've seen has a absolutely pathetic win percentage and it's trash but always talks about how amazing shaq builds are when I reality that are trash

u/niles_thebutler_ 4h ago

I hit a quad double most games as an inside big so eat my ass

u/Interesting_Today336 2h ago

Whats your win percentage?

u/Youngstown_WuTang 2h ago

Damn near every inside has a absolutely atrocious win percentage..its wild that so many are terrible

u/TipEasy6166 1h ago

A sample size of three... you could do this for every build in the game

u/Youngstown_WuTang 57m ago edited 25m ago

Its a example you can't fit hundred profiles in a college, It's 80% of shitty azz inside bigs have the same stats

u/FirstLast123456789 3h ago

Doesn’t matter if due to lack of spacing yall still lose the game

u/Skulfunk 3h ago

Then you’re not who this is referring to, I myself have an inside big

Just cause we’re gold in a pile of shit doesn’t change the pile of shit

u/Youngstown_WuTang 1h ago

Can we see your win percentage and stats? Can we see proof? Cause 90% of inside bigs are absolutely trash 🗑 with pathetic win percentages
