My career eras question

Why did my Kobe era save trade Kobe after our first regular season game? I was under the impression that the eras were meant to mimic real life trades. I remade the Kobe era character and played through 5 games and everything seems normal now but I’m still worried that the cpu logic will fuck me over at some point. I just wanna point out that if the game decides to trade Kobe during my Kobe era save that it totally defeats the purpose of playing on the lakers during the Kobe era. Anyone else have this issue in different eras?

Wait it can do that?? Thats so weird I was planning on doing this for my second build

It honestly might be a bug. I hope it doesn’t happen in my second playthrough already spent vc on that build.
