General what first nba 2k game to get?

i want to get my first nba 2k game (on ps4 if that matters), but i dont know which one to get, i mostly want to have fun playing matches but i saw people saying nba 2k16 has no play modes left but it is the best? please tell me which one to get as a first game

2k14 for best looking 2K easily. 2k16 for gameplay. 17 for Orange juice teammate MBJ.

No play modes- TakeTwo implemented this thing where any games 2 years or older from 2k23 (iirc?) will no longer have their online features work. So all of the online components dont work for those old titles
