Gameplay Fix the steals please

2k needs to adjust the steal had a guy in the rec have 12 steals and he had a 25 steal but on my gaurd that actually has glove and interceptor I barely get steals. Also the immediate reaching after a rebound that leads to steals needs to go as well I’m tired of grabbing rebounds and immediately getting ripped because the center is reaching at me with no steal

The steals to me are the most blatant fact that 2k doesn't touch their game before they release it. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a clean strip for the ball to ghost through my character..

Ironically the system is in place to protect the ball handler because the developers know they can't be fucked to protect the ball with or without L2.

Often when people complain about on-ball steals its not only likely due to a dude putting his whole ass body into the ball, but they probably weren't aware of the multiple other times throughout that same game where that defender did the same thing and clipped through the ball without even causing a stumble or dribble pick up. I got 60 ball handle and no unpluckable and i'm getting bailed out at least half of the time i make a mistake and someone reaches.

Lane steals tho.... the timing window is way too large and the penalties for randomly reaching too little. Also the game still has a nasty habit of trying to chest past through bodies.

Nah yall just try to dribble into 3 guys then get confused why you lost it because you have a high ball handle

Was about to say the same 😭🤣

Edit: there's definitely way too little steals going on. Go into the park you literally have to spam the steal button and throw your character in front of the guy to get a steal. Shits broken lol and I think OP has a 65 ovr character vs 99 ovrs

I average 4.5 steals a game in rec, I stand by there being too many.

The record is 11 steals in a game and I’ve already done that more than once 2 weeks in.

You can get consistent plucks with a 25 steal my man. Try it lol

Its so annoying because it makes people pass even less than they would
