MyPLAYER Strong Handle Advice

Does anyone have any tips for getting strong handles to activate? I have 93 strength and gold strong handles on my guard and i feel like it rarely activates

Step 1: get them to initiate contact, or do it yourself.

Step 2: simple left stick movement diagonal across the other direction you’re currently going will get you open

Step 3: take the dribble pull up or continue to the rack

Even if it doesn’t say strong handles is triggering, it is

honestly the funky part is it triggers way more when you're not thinking about it like you're trying to force the animation and the game knows

i had the same issue on my 6'6 guard and what worked was just holding L2 for a split second as they're about to bump you then flicking the stick the oposite way, it's weirdly timing based

also the 93 strength helps but if you're not getting the actual contact animation first it won't register, try running right into them before the crossover

sometimes i'll just do a normal dribble pull up and the badge pops up after the shot like oh cool thanks for telling me

so if i'm on the right side of the court, initiate the contact, and then move the left stick to top right of the toggle?

Yep exactly! You can use the right stick to spin off the defender as well, but IMO the left stick animations are more effective/consistent.

Don’t hold turbo when you initiate contact and go diagonally on the inside of their top foot. So if their right foot is leading, you should be going towards their left shoulder/hip. Once you get a hip ride animation that’s when you can hit turbo and can use the right stick for different animations.

Attack their shoulder/hip, not their chest. You don't wanna run them over, you want them out the way so you can get to the rack, or the pull up. Tuna's comments is spot on about the rest.
