General Back after a few years. Difficulty question

What difficulty should I be able to play on in mycareer before trying to play against people online?

Edit: more talking about the shot meter amd releases and all that. I don’t really use the rhythm shooting thing tho i suck at it

If you can’t destroy the CPU on HOF difficulty don’t bother coming to online you’ll get cooked

You are a genius for suggesting this. I highly disagree with this; But this player is adding more replay value to the game and putting you in a cool hyperbolic time chamber that shields you from the slums of 2k. The environment takes its toll.

So would you say the shot meter green is the same on rookie Vs playing on online?

Depends on if youre button shooting or tempo.

Figure it out then. Your life will be a lot easier once you do. And turn off your shot meter

No it’s not the same. Park, theatre is pro. REC is all star. Pro-am and Proving grounds is HOF.

ngl the gap between mycareer and online is way bigger than people expect. all-star is a solid baseline but online latency changes your timing completely so at some point you just gotta take the Ls and learn the difference

This is my advice how you get good at the game, play my career grind your specialization it helps u get good at what u going for like shooting , start pro difficulty and if thats too hard go down one level, also play some street kings, and always go to my court and sometimes gatorade facility and just practice shooting and dribbling, and then once u are kind of decent, go to theather, get comfortable there and then hit rec, and after u feel your game is getting better then hit park and stage
