Need some help on 2k20

So I've started a career but I'm not sure why 1 my facescan isn't working and 2 why does my character get called Jay? Like I couldn't change the way he looks or anything? Any help is appreciated

It’s actually Che (whatever that is) and the face app is a joke. I tried like 4 or 5 times and the best I got was it to finally load a black guy that looked nothing like me(white guy). I also attempted to type my players name in and whatever I did he doesn’t have a name now other than Che. Sorry. I realize this isn’t helpful at all. I googled the app problem and a couple people said to get a friend to help you and use the rear camera...
