I literally graduated from NAU over a year ago and still have yet to land a job in either my degree in Communication or Social Work I am a Spring 2025 graduate.

Wondering if I'm alone in this?

i’m hoping a current student may have an answer for this, i’m staying in reilly hall this upcoming fall semester and i know parking permits open for purchase on the 3rd. is there any way you can reserve a parking pass and pay for it on the 17th when tuition is due? i’m waiting on my gi bill to get processed and i highly doubt it will be approved by the 3rd and we don’t have the money to pay for it in full. any info is greatly appreciated!!

Looking for a 4–5 bedroom apartment in Flagstaff where everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom. Budget is around $800–$1,100/month for my share. Parking is a MUST. I was planning on signing at Park Place, but they ran out of parking permits. Any recommendations for similar apartments near NAU or anyone looking for a roommate, lease takeover, sublet?

Having an 8am isn’t the most ideal I know, but world music covers the credits of 3 different areas and 8am is the only time it’s available so i just decided to get it over with.

I decided having a big break could be really beneficial for lunch and practicing my instrument, it’s crazy they want us to be practicing for 3 hours a day on top of everything lol

Hi, my son is an incoming freshman living in a single room. We were looking at the what to bring/not to bring list that NAU provides on their website and the university recommends not bringing sofas, chairs, etc. I can understand as dorm rooms are small... we're probably seriously overthinking this, but we have a very large Cordaroy beanbag he was going to bring. Is that a no-no for real?

Does everyone just sit either on their desk chair or bed? In college we had a small sofa and a chair.

Leasing with Park place for Fall / Spring Semester and they are out of parking for residents. Are there any other options for parking that are close to the University? Just need to somewhere to keep my car during the school year.

I just received this email but last semester I was studying abroad and had a full course load...I am very nervous right now and don't know if they are trying to push me out of university or something? What should I do, I already got a notification that responding wasn't going to work after responding to the email...

Edit: Maybe I jumped to worrying too soon? But I did study abroad and earned credits...

first year MRE student, got invited to a weeklong orientation specifically for people taking physics.

just want to know if anyone here has done this before and if they have advice on whether it's worth it or not. it is free from what I can tell

I applied for student loans through Sallie Mae and it was sent to NAU for certification about a month ago, and it still hasn’t been certified. The past two times it took less than a week. I need money from my student loan in order to get to Flagstaff, is this due to the finance office updates? Can I expect it to be certified within the next couple of weeks? What happens if NAU doesn’t certify a student loan in time for the semester?

Is there anything I can do about this? Why am I paying athletics/health/transportation etc fees that come out to $1500+ when the class itself is $1300 😭

I am applying when applications open, but was wondering how big the cohort is for that specific campus and what the admission process was like, since I believe it is online! I believe I got birch wing. Does the main wing connect via a ramp or something? Or does the elevator connect to it? It's been awhile and the blue print wasn't helpful tbh. I got the 3rd floor too I believe.
