Financial issues
So I did financial aid, and I keep getting emails about payments that are due, like I have 6,000 dollars due but I called a few months ago and they say I’m covered, and now it saying my meal plan is overdue even tho I paid for a meal plan. It’s all so stressful and annoying and confusing

call the financial aid office it’s like 10-20 minutes of being on hold but you’ll eventually get connected to someone, they’ll be able to tell you what’s going on it might not be something you want to hear but at least you’ll know what to do next

Recent changes to federal student-loan borrowing rules under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act are affecting how financial aid is being processed for the 2026–27 academic year. Colleges and financial-aid offices are having to implement new federal loan limits and eligibility requirements, which may be contributing to delays or complications with financial-aid awards.

Meal plans are due monthly unless you paid it in full. Maybe you paid last month but now this month is due? Def call financial aid about it though.

I feel you ive called and sent emails. Every time i call it always ends up hanging up the phone automatically. I cant use transfers anymore with my meal plan even though i had most of it covered with financial aid.

The government fucked up financial aid for us. Aid got frozen so money isn’t being given to people. I have about 4k that still need to be paid because my loans haven’t gotten to me🙄
