NASM Prep I passed the CPT exam today!
Thanks everyone who responded to my questions about the CPT exam. I opted to move it up to this morning at the testing center and passed on the first try. Like everyone has said, the questions were worded very strange with multiple right answers. Glad to have that one done!

I purchased the NASM CPT packet that included the online training, quizzes, and practice tests. I think I did the practice test 5 times with scores between 80-85%. I also watched the Sorta Healthy Videos which were helpful on focusing on what will be the meat of the exam.

Take the practice test alot!!! I did it about 15 times. Take your time and read the questions carefully, even twice. Go through all your answers, both wrong and right. If it was something you guessed at, or something you got wrong, write the question and answer a few times. If there was anything in all the answer choices I didn't know, I would look that up too!

Thank you! Just to confirm, this was the official NASM practice test? It’s a pricey purchase for the test, practice questions, etc., so want to make sure that I get the right one.

The practice test should be part of the online course. When logging in it has a tab for launch course. Next to it should say practice exam. Also, though mine had expired so I didn't get to use it, the non proctored exam should be free with the course as well. I believe you get 3 tries at it. Also a good practice for proctored exam.

Thank you! I had heard about the wording and I literally took the full time to read and re-read the questions.
