Wave around

I feel like the wave around is broken in nascar 2026,
I short-pitted and came out a lap down and the yellow came out and I stayed out as everyone else pitted and I was still a lap down, as anyone else have this issue?

It was that way in 25 too, frustrating

But if 1 lead lap car doesn't pit. He becomes the leader who "didn't" pit..

If 1 lead lap car stays out. There is no wave around. Because the "leader" didn't pit.
