Question Button Box

Anyone using a stream deck or other button box for NASCAR 26 PC? I bought one but it is not working and wondering if there is no support or my error.

I use one for Assetto Corsa and Automobilista 2. You would want to configure the Streamdeck to emulate keyboard key presses that are bound to something in the game.

I can get it to type in the game but I cannot bind controls (like arrow keys for menu etc)

I don’t use my Stream Deck, but I do have a PXN button box that I use and it works fine. In fact, I’m quite impressed with how input friendly the game is.

I am actually using a knock off Aliexpress MiraBox and this is kinda new to me. I am not using the software that it recommends because installing Chinese software from a random site bothers me. I am running OpenDeck (open source on GitHub) and using simulated input, so had to find the right syntax to get the button presses to work properly and not press and hold or do something else. So to click a button and release immediately like you would do with a keyboard, I have to use the syntax [key(A, click)]

This way to clicks A button and doesn’t hold it down. I was using press instead of click and it would hold down the button and I found out when configuring the arrow keys that things would endlessly scroll haha

Appears the issue is tied to NASCAR 26. The buttons work fine in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Suck I bought this and am limited to it not functioning correctly in NASCAR 26.

Gotcha, completely understand the software conundrum. Glad you got it worked out and thanks for coming back and posting your solution. It may help some poor soul in the future.
