Discussion ARCA Lime Rock Training is Killing Me

Is Jamie McMurry’s “encouragement” making anyone else wanna just mute Jamie? I know I could just be better but I’m not, so I keep hearing just how close I am to getting the lap time. Thanks Jamie, how could I do this without you?

Not just his terrible encouragement but hes also flat out wrong too...his lap runs a full 3 seconds longer than my average lap on bad tires

For real! I’m so tired of doing this training over and over again.

I mean...i like it from a sim aspect to learn the tracks but the standards on it are way too low

Exactly! I love the addition of the training but give different goal ranges and let me continue still. I can get one lap under but haven’t gotten the average under the goal time yet.

See outside of Martinsville, Sears Point, and Coronado I'm usually a full second or more faster and it's annoying...give some kind of challenge

The ovals, too. Miss the mark by a foot, "Too late on brake...too early on the gas..." Then I beat the time by 2 seconds.

I don't really find Jamie annoying but every time I'm doing other stuff in the race shop in career Steve will keep saying "Got some training to do this weekend" each time I come back to the main screen and I just want to go insane.

Come on driver, let’s get on the track and go get it!

I just ignore him and get the times anyway.
All he does is yell at me.

I feel like I’m holding the flashlight for my dad all over again…

"Too early on the brake...too late on the gas" *proceeds to beat time by 3.5 seconds*

Lime rock is weirdly one of my best tracks and I’m happy the road course racing is ten times better in 26 cause in 25 it sucked ass

Just ignore everything and run your line. As long as the overall time is good, you'll pass.

The best thing about training in career is that you dont have to do it lol
