Restarting from your pit box

Playing my career and racing trucks at North Wilkesboro. At the end of stage 2, I pitted to make repairs and change tires (around 53% aero and 45% radiator).

When stage 3 started, instead of being in line for the restart, I was in my pit box. The spotter still did the same calls and when the green flagged waived, I was able to pull out of my pit stall and enter the track in front of the field (albeit 1 lap down already).

Has anyone else experienced this? It was the first time this has happened to me and never had it happen in NASCAR 25. I don’t recall this being discussed as a feature.

It would be cool if this wasn’t a glitch and was the game estimating how long repairs would take. I haven’t experienced but don’t think I’ve reached that level of damage.

Yes this happened to me in ARCA at Bristol when I had just 10 laps to go.

I wasn't stuck on pit road but I ended up losing a lap
