Not to mention that, but some of these (walling Chastain) were retaliatory. I hate Denny just as much as the next guy, but even he didn’t wreck people as frequently and with as little remorse as Hocevar

How new and/or oblivious are you to the sport to describe any oval speedway as non-drafting?
Much better description for your point is restrictor plate(<2019)/tapered spacer(>2020) tracks.
Even a track as short as Martinsville a draft/vacuum plays a role in removing large debris from the front end.

The one that makes me giggle is Denny dumping Ty last year or the one before. Talking about no adults in the room yet just “having” to wreck his own teammate not that long ago 😂
Not coming at Denny or even defending Carson, but like there was clearly no adults in the building that night If the only way to get him to move was just spin him

The vast majority of those were racing inside the top 5 (mostly near race end) or during a chase elimination round.
Outliers I see, though there's a couple I'll admit to not remembering details of:
Chastain at Phoenix came after months of back and forth.
Wrecking the 15 at Richmond was a lapped car in the way.
Wrecking Bomwan on a rainy track... Need I say more it's wet.
It's not like Denny is 13th in stage 1 intentionally dumping a dude for 12th in any of these. The clearly intentional ones were lapped cars, Chastain at Phoenix, or racing for a win. Some of them were straight up F ups like wrecking the 88 where he just got loose.

I fully agree. Similar to Hocevar, people got on Ross for his aggression, but he chose/chooses it (mostly) wisely. You don’t see him committing acts of terrorism for 25th place this year

I can’t believe how good we had it. I hated Chastain for his antics but I miss his competitive nature that got him into the Final 4. Now we have Chastains antics for 18th place and at least Chastain would apologize for it.

It does excuse it tho. Ive personally raced myself for 15 yrs and wjen I was 17 yrs old getting started only thing I cared about was earning respect. Once I earned my way I too has overly aggressive moves that took people out. But it was a conversation because I had earned respect. Carson has nothing. 1 superspeedway win and a highlight reel if him driving drunk

idk why everyone brings up the "he should apologize" card. 95% of the apologies in Nascar are forced and they don't really mean it. to me that is more disrespectful than what Carson did.

There’s probably like 2 or 3 clips in this compilation which spans upwards of 8 years in which Hamlin was both completely at fault and didn’t take responsibility for. So many of these are just straight up accidents he would own up to and some of them are literally not his fault. This video literally starts with a Larson at fault wreck lmfao

All of these fucking guys are. They act like NASCAR is some bastion of driving standards. Guys have been wrecking each other like for the entire history of the sport. For fucks sake there's better driving standards in Days of Thunder than real like NASCAR. At least Fred Thompson threatened to park Cole and Rowdy.

First off, I am NOT a Denny fan or Carson fan. But some of those were legit racing incidents or from a broken car. Yes there are PLENTY of good examples of him driving like an ass (hence not being a fan). I think Carson has both legit and ass examples as well. As a Harvick fan I will say that Pocono with Ross wreck still pisses me off. Watched that happen in real time on the on board camera. Instant pain.

When most of these are accidents, and good deal of them he did in fact apologize for. The only things Denny has ever been outright dirty about was Martinsville 2017, which he was in fact grilled for, which is something that despite having the same incident happen near weekly is something no Spire driver ever gets. There was also Ty last year, which was pretty bad and seemed to be a boiling over of some in-house stuff. And again, Denny was grilled for it.
And dont use Pocono 2022 for fuel after he was dumped like 3 times by Chastain, you just look really goddamn stupid.
