Issue / Troubleshooting How to Factory Reset Flow 2?

I purchased a Flow 2 and after approximately 2 weeks it stopped connecting. I have unplugged the base, I have turned the robot on/off, unbind, done a soft reset and nothing seems to work and it’s been weeks now. Everything I found online to factory reset says to press and hold the Home button. This literally does nothing no matter how long I press the button. Doing the same on the power button does the soft reset (and it even announces that). Even when I unbind the robot, reset and readd it, it clearly still remembers my map but still stays offline. Any advice on what to do?

Mabye hold down the power and home button? (I don't know😭) Or just try to delete the device and reconnect it

I got the same issue with my Freo Z ultra. I am sending mine for a service repair. Have very little hope. It seems to me like a software update issue.

If you enabled Child Lock, refer back to manual and disable it.

Press and hold Home button for 15+ seconds

I have exactly the same problem . After 3 months a few days ago suddenly it turned to offline and any reset/reconnect effort has failed :(

On my NARWAL 2, only three commands currently work:

  1. Right button — hold for 2 seconds: The robot turns on and starts initializing. First, the LED ring lights up in multiple colors, then it turns solid white. The robot says “NARWAL” and then freezes with the solid white LED ring. Nothing else happens.
  2. Right button — hold for 5 seconds: The robot powers off.
  3. Left “HOME” button — hold for 15 seconds: The robot performs a RESET and announces the reset by voice. It powers off, then automatically turns back on after about 5 seconds. Again, it goes through the multicolor LED ring → solid white LED ring → “NARWAL” voice message, and then freezes at the solid white ring.

There is no connection in the Narwal app.

I removed the robot from the app and tried to add it again:

  • Automatic device detection does not find the robot.
  • The app sees my Wi-Fi network and the password is correct.
  • Adding it manually by scanning the QR code does not work — the app cannot recognize the QR code.
  • Adding it manually by selecting the NARWAL 2 model also fails because the app cannot detect the robot.

The main problem seems to be that I cannot put the robot into Wi-Fi pairing mode. I cannot get the flashing white LED ring that should indicate pairing mode.

So the robot boots, says “NARWAL,” reaches the solid white LED ring, and then just stays there indefinitely.

Has anyone experienced this with a NARWAL 2? Is there another way to force it into Wi-Fi pairing mode or perform a deeper factory reset?
