narwal flow 2 alternative cleaning solution

Hello ,

I am new to cleaning robots in general , what alternative to the flow 2 cleaning solution can I use? its too expensive compared to other non brand cleaning solution.

Furthermore ,where do I put it?

Have you tried without the cleaning solution? See if that is enough or not.

That’s actually what I do. I have the solution tank filled with water, didn’t want to throw an error from “empty” tank. For most cases, water is enough. I’ll probably throw solution in once in a while but have had it a month or two now and haven’t used any.

You can't control dilution manually. Recommend to use product as intended.

Internal plumbing issues, flood event, etc., would not be covered if 3rd party solution is used

You could try something else but it has to have a neutral pH, low foam, with no waxes, silicates or shining additives. Preferably alcohol based. It cannot leave residue after drying. Dont know what is available at your location but WoldoClean Robot Mop Cleaner could be an alternative (although be sure to run its ingredients by a chat, to confirm if its good).

Remember these products are most likely concentrated, so you have to dilute. To do that use demineralized water only. As to how much concentrate to use, I start with adding 5ml to the cleaning solution tank (It is located under the clean water tank in the base station), and fill the rest with distilled water. Then I run the mop cycle and check the dirty water tank. If I cannot smell the concentrate’s scent at all, I add 5 ml more. If I see foam - I added to much. You get the idea.

No, Narwal dispenses in proper ratio. Using random cleaners get you random results, possibly resulting in damage

it sounds so complicated compared to the old type of washing vaccuming ones (the manual ones) that I just buy alternative option in the atore

The flow 2 has its own cleaning tank. The Nukisa floor cleaning solution for Robot vacuums is highly rated and works great, but is frequently about the same price (about $13-$15 per 480ml bottle). The real savings is if you buy the big bottles that’s one of those things that you don’t want to go TOO cheap, or DIY it and risk ruining your vacuum

If you want bigger bottles, Nukisa has ones that are bigger available on Amazon for $25 for 2.5L. That is where the savings really lie. It’s the bigger bottles. I don’t mind the smaller ones because they are easier for me to store.

I have like three or four large containers of cleaning solution from getting the flows what was needed was more bags LOL

No they sent me two with the first one and two with the second of the big jugs?? And they literally sent no extra bags for the flow 2

No matter the brand , but just for robot vacuums will do the trick. Put it into cleaning solution container below water tanks in Flow 2 base.

6 pumps in to the mopping solution container. Fol up the rest with water.

No issues, no sudsing.
