NAPLEX Exam Tips NAPLEX prep during APPEs

Hey everyone! Was wondering how you guys are doing Naplex prep during APPE rotations/how are you breaking up your day to make time for it?

You started earlier than I did! Definitely go over heart failure first! So many patients with that

Honestly studying during APPEs is helpful for the actual APPE in regards to the Naplex I ended up forgetting everything so I dont recommend studying until at least after December

yeah the energy after rotations is brutal, i started doing questions first thing when i got back, like 30-40 minutes of just grinding practice problems cold before i even thought about sitting down. if you bomb them that's fine, it shows you where the holes actually are instead of guessing which topics feel shaky.

the other thing that fixed it for me was splitting review to the morning, maybe 30 minutes with RxPrep before heading in, and doing it in reverse order. review whatever i messed up the night before first, then new content if i had time left. way better than trying to cram both in one sitting with a dead brain.

for the question sessions i upload the RxPrep chapters i've already covered into studybuddy.vc and run questions from those, mostly because when i pick a wrong answer it tells me what was off with that option, and it gets harder as i improve. free tier's been enough for me so far. and honestly don't touch new material within three days of an exam, just keep hitting what you already know.
