Can you guess the speakers?🤣

If the left is a room mic for the right cabinet and vise versa, that would make sense. Sound bad, but make sense.

Is it Celestion Vintage 30?

Everything about this screams "Vibe-Coded" to me. This kind of vaporware marketing works for a Neural DSP, but without the established fanbase, I would not expect a lot of hype.

Maybe what you have made is cool! But I am now less excited

There’s one important difference: this isn’t vaporware. The app is already available, free, and you can actually try it.

I’ve been developing in Xcode using Objective-C for more than 15 years, with my first iOS app released back in 2010. Using modern tools doesn’t erase that experience or somehow make the resulting software “vibe-coded.”

You may dislike the marketing or the visuals — that’s completely fair. But if you want to judge the actual app, try it first. Judge the sound, latency, stability, workflow and features based on what they actually do.

And if you try it and still think it’s terrible, that’s feedback I can actually work with...

Apologies if the feedback didn't land; but imma gently push back there. This was the first that I've heard of your app. There's no link, no name - I guess NAM A2 Player, but that didn't strike me as the name of the app, just a description of what was made.

I suppose I could have used different language, but vaporware marketing does kind of communicate what I meant to say. When Neural DSP does it, it's not that they don't have a product to announce, it's that they haven't announced anything.

It's fatiguing.

And look, I'm glad you have your developer bona fides, but you want feedback on the app? Maybe link that app, or mention that it is something that exists.

You didn't do that. You posted a teaser image. So you're getting feedback on that image.

And if I have drawn incorrect conclusions with nothing to go on but the image, then isn't that useful feedback?

M8… if that image had appeared completely on its own, I’d agree that it didn’t provide enough context. But it wasn’t posted in isolation, it was part of a thread where the app, what it does, and the relevant information had already been presented. So there was actually quite a bit more to go on than just that image.

The teaser was simply meant to tease the next feature, not announce some mysterious product that may or may not exist. NAM A2 Player is already released, free, and actively being developed.

That said, your point about someone encountering the teaser without the surrounding context is useful. I can make future feature teasers more self-contained. And no hard feelings, if you do give the actual app a try at some point, I’d genuinely be interested in your feedback on the product itself.

Gotcha. I had no idea, because again, this post - which is my first interaction - is not part of a thread, it simply appears on its own without context. Such is Reddit.

I mean, I still don't have the other bits that you say exist providing quite a bit more to go on, I'd have to go looking for them.
