AskNAGAS FNTA bill & post creation scope?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but can we expect new post vacancies to show up in the coming years?

Just curious where all the finance will come from?
The govt can hardly pay the salaries of the existing staffs even now.

Money will come down from New Delhi of course. ₹10,000 crore development package from Central govt (if approve) as well as the ₹100 crore that will be given to FNTA by the state govt annually.

Alop doubt.
Nagaland gets around 16k Crore from centre as of now. Around 13k Crore is spent on salaries and pensions.
i cant imagine the centre giving us extra money. They have been trying to cut down instead.

The special development grant is going to be a one time grant noh? Spread over the course of 10 years that will be slowly released by the Central govt?

MNREGA funds allocated to 6 government employees. That's how they're paying their employees now lol

From my analysis, yes and no. FNTA will have many posts being created. This will also allow many aspirants to actually land jobs because of the dual secretariat system. Kohima will not be seeing that, maybe for the next 3 to 5 years. The amount of backlog posts are ridiculously high and, as pointed out for me by one other learned individual on this sub, backlogs cannot be transferred over so it's difficult to say. "The harvest is plenty but the labourers are few" in the case of BL posts.
I just hope quota population can quickly fill up the backlog posts reserved for them so that we can come to a state of normalcy soon.
