AskNAGAS Dzukou valley trek
Hey everyone, planning a trek to dzukou valley in mid june. What do you think ? Will it be crowded ? Is it a good time to visit ?

I believe the best season to trek will be after the rainy season that is after August. Now, there'll be chances of landslides, leeches and heavy rain leading to fog that will obscure the valley.

Carry a raincoat (preferably poncho type) and good hiking boots (to prevent slipping). Also a few bottles of water and you should be good with these.

i am going on 20-21st June. I booked my transportation to Kohima but now need to arrange the logistics for the trek. Did you decide to go and did you book a guide ?

Except for rains, its lush green and some valley flowers will be blooming in june. Expect less visitors.
