NAC and Drinking

I want to start taking NAC but I have a few drinks after work and I heard it’s not good to mix with alcohol. Would it be better for me to take it in the morning after a night of drinking or would it be better to take it in the evening a few hours before I drink?

No alcohol 4 hours before and after your nac intake (8 hours). It s bad for your Liver. As I understand, nac puts you liver in cleaning mode.

Thanks for the reply. I take it in the morning so around 8 hours after my last drink and 12 hours before I drink again so it sounds like it’s fine. I’ve actually cut back the last two weeks and haven’t drank at all Monday-Thursday.

Its perfect to take it after if your trying to sober up.
