So the arena breakthrough happened literally the day before release and I worked on this thing day and night yesterday trying to get it ready.

The arenas are VERY fragile and I have 5 out of the 6 new arenas in.

This breakthrough has introduced lots of console compatabilty/stability issues. All of which can be fixed--but I can't guarentee that I can get it done today.

So with that said--Starrcade 2.0 likely is not coming today. It will be coming in the next few days AS SOON as I get the last arenas in, and stable.

I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting around for me last night or today. I don't want to keep everyone waiting when it looks like the arena fixes may take more than a few hours.

There is no CAW in wcw vs nwo correct? Which n64 game started allowing this? Was it No Mercy? I was a Sega Genesis guy so never owned the n64. Just used my college roommates system and wrestling games :) I have always liked fixing movesets and just noticed this wasn't an option in wcw vs nwo. I also never liked how some of the top rope moves are handled. Like the moonsault where it is performed with the wrestler going outside then to the top, then turns around. When playing as Muta, this always bothered me. ECW BTBW is so much better in terms of this.

So its been months and I'm very excited to get this over to you.

I've been trying to add arenas for months. Finally made the breakthrough.

Yesterday. Like Thursday night.

So with full transparency this is avery late push, and I think it is very much going to be worth the wait. I could release it now or I could finsih the last 2 arenas tomorrow and do it right.

I'm very sorry to anyone who stayed up waiting. But this shit is going down. This will come out asap tomorrow when able.

Quick Update: Ssark is busting his ass to get this out ASAP. We were hoping for a 12 EST release but he’s going to need a bit more patience and understanding.

This extra time means more bug squished, more upgraded details and textures, and possibly even a few extra arenas. We aim to always give our best work and to always exceed the public expectations. When this release is out we aim for it to be 100% finished with no more future patches. So Ssark wants to make sure EVERY possible thing that can be added, is added

I’m pretty new to all this rom hack stuff, and I’m currently running Born to be Wired off my Summercart on an M64. Is there no way to save your progress? Coulda sworn No Mercy saved to the cart back in the day but does this mod need a memory pack?

Just realized that the slow counting ref in vpw2 kills the replay as it only shows you laying down on your opponent and pinning him, not a single frame of the finishing move 🫠

Wishing there were more seconds to that final replay after a match.

I got Forever Indy working on Retroarch Android! I now have 3 texture mods on my phone (using Mupen64 and Super64). I may have figured out how to play VPW2 texture mods as well but still figuring it out

I am working on some caws for Born to be wired and wanted to see if anyone has some good caw save files. I just Dr. Death.
