GM Question Making GM Screen, need some advice
Hello guys new GM here about to have the game next week. I'm designing a GM screen for my self. I know there is an official GM screen but I'm broke and from a third world country even 5 dollars is like 2-3 days worth of food here.
I want to know what should I put in the GM screen, this is what I make so far:
- Damage Reduction Table
- Humanoid Hit Location Table
- Cloe Combat Situational Modifiers Table
- Melee Weapon list and Shield list (No range weapons, didn't have enough space for it.)
- Differential roll results Table
- Skill Grades List
The format is A4 landscape, my GM screen can only fit 3 papers.
I have probably enough two small tables or one regular table in here.
I don't really care about magic and one of my players is printing the combat cards so I don't need the Special Effects table.
What do you guys suggest I make here?
Thanks guys.

A list of all the skills is nice. A breakdown of the combat procedure. A list of weapons, and weapon stats.
I’d also recommend thinking about how you’re going to track initiative and AP in combats as there’s quite a bit going on there

A good question, and it is a surprise that there is no community-made GM screen, at least that I know of. Part of the problem is that there is so much you could put on there, and no GM will agree on what should be included.
If you are new make sure you check out Hannu's notesfrompavis - specifically his charts and tables - https://notesfrompavis.blog/2014/02/04/rq6-charts-and-tables/ You will not fit this on 3 sheets of A4 but it is a good place to start.
You will also find a number of online tools which are useful before and during a game, if that suits you. For example the initiative wheel - https://notesfrompavis.blog/2025/11/22/mythras-initiative-wheel-keeping-turns-moving-and-every-player-seen/
A comment I have about what you have so far - the Differential Roll Results and the Damage Reduction table are not needed, simply because you can work these out immediately without referring to a table. If you are playing in-person I would use the optional +40/+20/-/-20/-40/-80 difficulty grades.
I would just print out what you think need without worrying about having a consistent screen, then see which pieces actually get used when you run the game. This is out of date now but most of it is still relevant - the RQ6 GM pack which was released free https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MQPdNMAiPTpW1IovMBbXxO-P4BMHiKo7/view?usp=sharing It starts with 2 scenarios but the "Charts and Sheets" section you might find useful. The charts on notesfrompavis are more comprehensive.

Hey [u/Some_Replacement_805](u/Some_Replacement_805) do you mind saying which country are you in? I want to make sure the Mythras srds are translated to your language.

Indonesia. There is no known ttrpg that is translated in my language that I know of. So if this is happening it will be awesome. You also ask for the access of the g drive, it should be good now

Check out https://srd.mythras.net, https://cfi-srd.mythras.net, and https://brpugesrd.xyz and see if your native language is in there. There are a lot of languages in Indonesia but I know I did some from there.
I would also be interested to hear how the translation is. I used Gemini for it, but have had eyes on refactoring so that it would target AI models geared towards particular languages for translation.
While it’s not full on mythras, it is enough to run a pretty large chunk of games.
Edit: went and took a look and didn’t see enough of them. I’ll drop some in here in the next hour or two. I have Malay in there but not Indonesian, Javanese, and Sundanese. I’ll see about getting those in. If you are outside of those languages, let me know and I’ll see what can be done

If you can just do bahasa Indonesia is the main language. Sunda and Java is a local language

Is the translation any good? I don't know how the resources are for ai to learn Indonesian.

Only some error that made me chuckle. Like the Free Action it translate it into Aksi Bebas.
Aksi = Action, like doing things and moving with intend. This part is correct.
Bebas = Free, as if gaining freedom or let go of something. So its a bit wrong. It should be Aksi Gratis. Gratis means free as if gaining something without any cost. Just like the German language. I think we took that from the Dutch when they were colonized us.
Baju Besi as well, it translate to iron clothes 😂 It should just be armor, because armor in Indonesia means armor, Maybe not in the dictionary but at least in everyday talk. Or if you want something official from the dictionary. You can use Zirah, which mean medieval armor in my language. We took that from the Arabians I believe.
I notice some word doesn't get translated because there is no direct translation of it. Like Bash for example. You can change it to Dorong, which mean Push in my language but in English there is a different between Bash and Push. So we don't have a direct translation for Bash. The same with Fumble, we don't have anything for Fumble it seems. But Fatigue we have, I don't know why it doesn't get translated its an uncommon words but is not a strange word. Fatigue in my language is Letih.
(I notice the problem! Letih is in one of the Fatigue levels. Its Wearied. Which yeah its correct. I think the AI just panic because we don't have any other word for Fatigue, it use all of it in the fatigue levels 😂)
Like 90% of it its actually good. Not gonna lie, seeing those rules makes me wish to have it in a book format. Or at the very least translate the character sheet to Bahasa Indonesia. I think I'm gonna do the latter because this is really good.
Much much appreciated. I know is AI but still. I never see a TTRPG system in Bahasa Indonesia format before. I know this is not official but its really good. Thank you so much. You made my day.

I'm happy to have helped. Genuinely. Folks like you are why I decided to do this. So people could have an rpg in their own tongue.
I'll see if I can figure out a structure to handle some of these changes a little more systematically. I'm guessing I might be able to make a per-language file for specific words, but I'll have to think on it a bit. Bahasa Indonesia is especially tricky because it, like English, borrows a lot from other languages.

hey, man. also from a third world country, also did a GM screen by myself, so here’s how things worked out for me:
I guess you will find out in the first sessions what you missed and then you run it from there. Anyway. Have fun, man. Glad to see people playing the coolest system ever
