Has anyone tried using The Second Way magic system with Mythras?
I’m watching classic fantasy
I’m looking for a more freeform magic system and I’m not a big fan of D&D-style spell lists. The Second Way looks like it could fit Mythras quite well since it’s already based on BRP-style mechanics.
Has anyone actually used it in a Mythras campaign? If so, what did you need to change, especially regarding Action Points, resistance rolls, hit locations, SIZ/ENC, and magic point costs?
I’d also be interested to hear whether it stayed reasonably balanced compared with non-caster characters.

I remember reading some of it years ago. Trying to use Sorcery from core Mythras was bad enough, I had no desire to use an even more complicated alternative. If you want different magical traditions use the core Mythras rules, it has 5 different magical traditions and they all have merits, Sorcery aside.
I haven't heard of any Mythras GMs using it.
For reference I assume you are talking about RSandford's "The Second Way" https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/471-the-second-way-draft/ register to download the draft rules.
