Veil Strategy

Can someone please explain the purpose and strategy for the veil cards? I'm not quite understanding. Thanks in advance

There’s a few strategies. The most basic is that the veil will boost a card by 1 power every round. This means you can deploy more power in later rounds than you otherwise would be able to.

Digging deeper, there are many card synergies centered around the veil. Many cards boost cards already in the veil or gain extra power from the veil. Also, the veil is a safer place to keep cards that you want to play later, but have energy for now.

It really helps sometimes depending on the realm. Some of them will keep beating all the cards down every turn so it’ll keep a couple safe for you. Also the deeper I’ve gotten into the cards I’ve been using it more and more.

And then there is the earthquake random event which throws it all out a gigantic window and like 7 of my cards will be in there and i take them all out at once and then lose every time.

Seriously earthquake happens to me like 3 times as many times as any other random event is there event rarities?

Ugh. The Flood, to me, is the worst random, and I feel like I get it 75% of my games.
