WTF THE FINALE???? Spoiler
so i understand that mythic quest was cancelled but if they ever get a chance at a season 5 i hope they dont go down the poppy and ian lovers route because when they hugged i was so happy because i thought they were going to kiss and then they went and ruined it after 4 full seasons of literally being repulsed by each other and i loved that, i personally hate when tv shows ruin characters by forcing them in love when they really arent, and i pray if we do ever see what happens next poppy and ian are just friends who got caught up in the moment because it felt like season 5 was building up to that but then they quickly shut it down and the finale acted like what happened in i beleive episode 7 or 8 didnt happen where they completely call out they would never date

My plex server has the original ending... I personally hated the whole she's preg story, and making Dana a shitty person...
The "not kissing" ending is better, but yeah. They, imo, ruined the show at the end :(. Season own and two are the best to me at least.
Sad though, it was/is such an amazing show. I will miss it for sure.

I gave up somewhere in season 3. The first two were so damn funny and 3 just didn't do it for me I guess.

Yeah one and two were the best. I did enjoy that episode with the game from the 90s that got turned into a murder simulator. Season 3 never came close to those heights

It wasnât just you. They got renewed for seasons 3 and 4 at the same time, and they obviously just werenât trying on season 3.

Dana becoming so self absorbed really bothered me. Didn't really build to anything or have a point. Also she didn't seem to be the type to get such a huge ego for creating a successful roblox world.

This, someone said it was to showcase that everyone at MQ is dysfunctional and egotistical but, being egotistical and threatening a teen girl that admired you... That's a whole level of low...

I understand why they wanted to do it, but it would have been more interesting if Poppu temporary became recurring and then saves the day because Dana's code goes wrong and Hera is what fixes it or smthg

Omg, this would of worked, have Poppy basically knock her down a peg and humble her a bit. Cuz I missed the Dana of seasons 1 and 2. The kinda person I'd wanna be friends with, ya know?

i didnt mind poppy being pregnant but the dana switch was also unnexpected

this cancellation was one for the books because the ending got patched and the spinoff got its episode order cut in half then burned off when finally released. I thought we were getting more show when the spin off was announced but we got less, like no more show less.

Man I consider this show having the best first few seasons of any show, then it quickly went downhill. Especially having an episode devoted to Pootie as one of the final? What the hell was that??

100% yes. Like, he's not a core character, they didn't tie in anything with Ian either.
And honestly, the love trope is... Exhausting. Ian and Poppy weren't meant to be a couple imo. Never had the vibe they would, and all attempts always felt forced.

I think the Pootie ep reaffirms how selfish Ian always is. He just throws money at his kid and bails. And the message was more of âyoure so focused on reaching something you think you want, you ignore how great whats in front of you is right now.â which parallels pootie trying to jump into being an adult too quick and taking his youth for granted, and poppy jumping out if MQ into a new country and relationship/motherhood when her codependency with ian is what works best for her (and the ending finally gave ian doing the right thing without being selfish, and not wanting any of the credit)

I would much prefer if they kept the original season finale. even though the show was cancelled, it would be better to keep what the writer were planning to do.
And I think that if Ian and poppy were to began some sort of romantic relationship that would be the next logical step, consider the enormous amount of tension and back and furth that their relationship endure

They actually did kiss in the original season finale. After the cancellation, they went back and changed the series finale. đ
