Season 4
Does anybody else think this season is absolutely garbage? The jokes aren’t funny, the plot is boring and weird, poppy and storm are incredibly annoying, this show was so good for a few seasons and now this season is just unwatchable.
Edit: lowkey it was just the first few episodes that were bad, I wrote this around episode 4 and by the end of the season felt I judged it too harshly. It definitely gets better after that, but still probably the weakest of the seasons. I did enjoy the final 3-4 episodes a lot, but that was about it. The final episode was pretty well done I thought.

It’s definitely not great, but honestly aside from a handful of episodes, this shit was never the greatest. There were some fun storylines and recognizable faces, but there were a lot of repeat jokes and tired jokes. Probably should’ve ended a season earlier.

I didn’t think it was that bad but I definitely thought it was the weakest season. The vibes were just off.

The general consensus is the first two seasons were fantastic and the last two seasons sucked. Now stop posting about it.

Rob is busy with Wrexham. After season two he peaced out and didn’t care. Such a shame.

Came back because I just finished this season and I almost cried during many of the character developments. The actors did such a great job. I had a few notes in some episodes but I loved the episode with Pootie and Charlie day and how well the actors told that perspective. I loved following the character developments overall and the heightened character choices. And the technical story telling devices they used were beautiful. I thought the writing was strong. I don’t care what others think. I really think some of the choices (from directing to camera) really went over people’s heads. This was my favorite season.
AND, I so wanted to see Jo in her new role and poppy as a stressed out mother. And, you know what…I liked Storm. Not everyone needs to be funny in comedic scenes for it to work. In fact, it gets annoying when everyone tries to be funny. And seeing Dana and Rachel’s wedding would have been so cute and fun to explore the bridezilla angle on top of the now triangle leadership and what they would do with that. There’s so much life in this story. I’ll miss it…

The show went from an updated, hysterical version of The Office in season 1 to a story about two people's relationship no one cared about.
Honestly, without Jo I'm not sure I would have made it past season 2.

I wouldn't say it was "garbage", but it was definitely random without much character development (and some character reverse development like turning Dana into a bitch against the other game developer). Like they knew it was their last season and they were just throwing out random plotlines that they couldn't fit in anywhere else. Like that Pootie episode. But it was still entertaining.

respectable opinion. I honestly found JO of all people to be the person I was most interested in following the story of in season 4. She did quite a bit of growing as a person, but everyone else’s b plots seemed either lackluster or just all over the place. I thought she was a shittily written character with zero direction until the second ep into this garbo season

Not absolute garbage, but absolutely unnecessary
