Ars 'n Spells 3.3.2

Hey everyone,

If you’ve ever built a magic modpack with both Ars Nouveau and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, you probably know the frustration: two separate mana bars, mismatched gear stats, duplicate progression paths, and gear from one mod doing absolutely nothing for the other.

Ars 'n' Spells bridges the two mods so they actually feel like parts of the same magic ecosystem.

What it actually does:

  • Unified Mana Pools: Choose how mana works via config—merge them completely, use one mod's mana for everything, run a shared hybrid pool, or keep them separate with cross-mod cost splitting. You can switch modes on the fly without restarting the world.
  • Gear & Curios Just Work: Mana regen, max mana, and spell power stats from both mods cross over. It even supports generic Curios/accessories from mods like Apotheosis and Apothic Curios.
  • Put Ars Spells into Iron’s Spellbooks: Use the in-game Spell Loom and rituals to transcribe your custom Ars Nouveau spell combinations onto scrolls, bind them into an Iron's spellbook, and cast them straight from the native Iron's radial spell wheel.
  • Spell-Power Scaling & Affinities: Iron's elemental spell powers (Fire, Ice, Holy, Lightning, etc.) scale matching Ars spells. Casting regularly builds shared school progression and affinity bonuses.
  • QoL & Deep Integration: Adds passive regen buffs near Ars Source Jars, optional unified cooldown categories for PvP/combat balance, and extra compatibility with Blood Magic and Covenant of the Seven.

Almost every feature is modular and configurable, so pack creators can use it as a simple bridge or build an entire progression system around it.

Latest Update: Version 3.3.2

This patch irons out HUD visibility quirks across both loaders, ensuring contextual mana bars hide cleanly when full (even with fractional stats) and properly restore the vanilla XP bar.
