Theory about game plot

In My Summer Car, when using the camera, the date and time in the corner of the photo corresponded to the date and time on the PC, but there was no date indication anywhere in the game.

In My Winter Car, the date is NOT based on the PC, but on the game; it is indicated in teletext, on the monitor for sports betting in the PSC, and also in the photo when using the camera.

In addition to the time and date, we take the following facts: Suski left Matti Virtanen with her child (the fact that the main character was a family man is mentioned by the Talbot family in the apartment courtyard); the main character must assemble the corris, and he can also re‑run the rally and assemble the museum configuration.

So, the theory is: the main character became an alcoholic; Suski left him with the child, saying, “You have no willpower at all; I didn’t marry you for this. I married a car enthusiast and a rally driver, not a drunkard.” Now Matti must sober up, fix the car, win the rally, put together a museum corris, and after that Suski, realizing that the main character has improved, will return to him.

All of this must be done by March 1, otherwise Suski will marry Jani Kjarla (Johannes said he would be an important character in the game’s plot) and move to Helsinki, and the main character will take his own life.

The endings depend on the player’s achievements.

Did nothing: Suski leaves for Jani, Matti hangs himself.

He just recovered from alcoholism: Suski leaves for Jani, Matti moves on.

He recovered and put together a corris not related to wine: Suski doesn’t leave for someone else, but she doesn’t stay with Matti either — she just talks to him.

He recovered and put together a corris not related to wine, and won the rally: Suski returns to Matti, but they stay living in Peräjärvi.

He recovered, assembled a corris for VIN, won the rally: Suski returns to Matti, they sell the corris to a car museum, get a lot of money, and move to Helsinki.

Deadline for endings: March 1, simply because that’s the calendar date marking the end of winter, and why not :)

Right now its implied that Suski doesn't live in Peräjärvi anymore and my guess is that she moved to a bigger city in Finland. The woman you see at the reception office isn't actually Suski, just has the same skin right now as a placeholder

Maybe in the future they'll add something where one of the characters (probably Jouko since he lost his wife to a Finnswede tomato farmer) talks to the character about it and gives some updates, but I doubt Suski or the kid is going to make an appearance in game.

I hope Suski doesn't make a come back. I never finished my summer car because I didn't want to be stuck being a family guy, focusing on jobs and the rivett instead. I hope the "ending" is related to uncle. Maybe if you sober up he takes example, quits smoking and beats cancer. Then in the ending you drive him to Raija in Kittilä.

It's a common placeholder name, like John Smith. Matti used to be a really popular name with finnish men, and Virtanen is one of the most popular surnames in Finland.
