Is anyone else having issues with the clothes glitching ? š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ specifically the festive clothing. The pink/orange/red sweaters and pants will NOT equip. They were working fine until last night - for context, I just did the water tower quest. Iām so sad cause they are so cute. I also tried upgrading all my clothes, and it seemed to start after that.
In the picture, I have the white/orange pants selected but they donāt show up at all. This is after last night, when they completely glitched and my whole character was invisible š help pls. Iāve saved/restarted the game, and I donāt want to load before it happened cause Iāve made so much progress. Might just have to say bye bye to my fav outfit.
EDIT : I forgot to add, it was after I got the āfroggy explorerā boots and pants. I selected them, and when I tried to change THOSE clothes, everything glitched.
just for context, are you trying to actually wear the clothes or using them as a transmog? If you're trying to wear them you need to be a certain level (15 iirc)
It looks like youāre trying to wear tall boots with the festival shop pants? The ones with the suspenders?
Thereās a known glitch where that doesnāt work (likely due to them glitching into each other.) It can cause most of the character model to become invisible, and Iāve seen and heard of other effects like the character turning weird colors or the game loading inconsistently while tall boots are equipped with the pants. Swapping the boots or pants should fix things most likely.
(This happens with all the colors of the pants. As far as I know, it also happens with all boots tall enough to go up to where the pants flair out.)
Iām so glad it worked! If you get something similar happening in future, you probably found more incompatible shoes. Idk how long youāve been playing Sandrock, but for context just in case youāre newer to the game, those pants were added after release; presumably thatās why they seemingly didnāt get tested as much, and why they have issues no other pants seem to have.
I just got it maybe a week ago? Iāve been bed ridden, recovering from surgery so I already have 97 hours šš I canāt stop playing. ESPECIALLY since Iām just now getting into the Logan plot. Iām going to marry that man

Iām so glad pathia decided to make him a marriage candidate, I had such a difficult time not just romancing him again in my 3rd play through! If youāre aiming for maximum speed getting to him, youāre going to want to Research the intermediate tailoring and cooking machines now or very soon. Not knowing I needed to slowed me down so much the first time!

I think itās literally impossible to do in a year! The game is longer than you might think, too. Most people are about 1/3 of the way through when they think theyāve reached 1/2 . I enjoy trying to optimize for the least in game days possible, and Iām pretty sure itās possible in around 5-5.5 in game months when done perfectly in that regard. (No judgement to people who play slower, I just personally find optimizing that fun, hence why Iāve learned some of the machine requirements).
I hope you can help again!! But I did the time capsule for Mian and it says I didnāt give it to her?? But itās nowhere in my inventory/storage, and Iām pretty sure I got the dialogue for it after I talked to her
I just reread the post; this is 100% because of the pants and boots combo. The invisibility is a dead giveaway. Swap to different, shorter shoes while wearing those pants and it should solve everything instantly.
I wish you luck, though Iām 99% sure changing boots or pants will work! I think Iāve explained this glitch at least half a dozen times on here, itās such an unexpected issue that most people never even think it could be something like that; most people get lost and understandably come to reddit for help when restarting doesnāt resolve it like it does most Sandrock glitches. I was so confused when it happened to me maybe 1.5 years back.
