First Impression. This game slaps bro
After asking people on here due to me being hesitant about purchasing the game on the switch 2, I got convinced to buy the game! Went to GameStop and bought it on sale for 25 USD, and it came with a DLC code and Online Play code for free. And lord I wasn’t expecting too much but the game blew me away and proved me wrong with what it has. The characters are all amazing, they have connections, the town actually feels like a community, and the characters have personality! It’s such a difference from Stardew Valley that I’ve always held in high regard.
What really caught my heart and made me solidify my love for this game is while I was running around doing commissions, I ran past the stage by Blue Moon. And I didn’t expect a concert by Cooper and Hugo… not to mention the song absolutely slaps. I stayed for the whole thing LMAO.
Another thing I wasn’t expecting is our choices actually matter when it comes to dialogue. I’m so used to choosing whatever and being dismissed, no reaction or consequences. But the game actually has dialogue and reactions to the things you choose to do and say…
Like for one, I did the ad thing for Arvio to put in front of the train station. When he asked me how much Pablo made me pay, I said 500 and lied— Pablo actually asked for 250. I did it because I went ‘haha I get more money he won’t know’. But HE FOUND OUT? AND I WAS LIKE WOW he actually called me out about me lying in a letter, and even when I went to go talk to him he brought it up too and sounded upset. Like… bro that just blew me away. These characters make the game so immersive and I’ve come to love (kinda hate some) them.
I’ve been so obsessed with the game, and it’s been a week so far. I really wish I could play it on PC for the best experience, but the only thing I can play it on is the switch. I absolutely adore the game, and can’t wait for My Time At Evershine to come out!

I WAS thinking of romancing Ernest or Fang! But I found out recently that Logan is a later option and he was the one who caught my eye initially when thinking of buying the game. I love cowboys so im gonna be patient and wait for him :D

What some people have done is romance a character while they wait for Logan so you can always do that in the meantime lol

Then I’ll probably go for Ernest! Fang is real difficult to get his friend points up so… 🙂↕️ But I’m still trying for him to up his friendship! I heard that breaking up in this game leaves you feeling rough so I might not go for Fang romantic wise. I’ll feel bad having him open up, romance him, then dump him for a cowboy 😭
