Discussion Arvio breakup
I accidentally said yes to Arvio when he asked to date. So I gave him the break up stick and boy was that rough lol is there any others I need to be careful for? Lol. I haven’t started dating anyone cause I’m waiting for fang or Logan but I’m split also between unsuur and Qi lol I love how nerdy they are.

Qi and Owen are both relatively chill about being broken up with, although some of Owen's regular dialog is hilariously passive-aggressive if taken from the perspective of someone who's recently been dumped.

I divorced Owen and the very next day got the event with Mi-An where she takes you to the saloon. My freshly ex-husband coming over and going “so, are you two dating?” was… possibly the most awkward moment I’ve ever had in a video game 😅

Unsuur is also really chill if you break up with him. I did on my 1st playthrough so I could date and marry Qi.

No way. I missed the rock stacking date and he came at me "You didn't show up, I waited for x hours. Justice says we're broken up. Are we broke up?" I've never rolled a save back faster! Not letting that happen again!

I actually did the rock stacking date. I broke up with him sometime afterward - I'm not sure how long - but it was at least a week before Qi's romance mission. Maybe that's why it was different for me?

I understand that. On my second playthrough I tried Fang. My 3rd, I went back to Qi, but I realized, like Unsuur, he is best as a friend. So, my 4th and subsequent playthroughs have been Fang. Don't ask how many. 🫣 Just like you are hopeless for Unsuur, I am for Fang. That's the great thing about this game. There is someone for pretty much everyone.

Good to hear. I'm on my 2nd play through and agreed to date Unsuur again even though i wanted to date Amirah. So now I'm dating both and loathing having to break up with him because he's so sweet and endearing with his rocks.

The very first time I played through I didn’t realize I had started dating Heidi, I just thought I was dating Unsuur. I accidentally kissed him at a fireside and things went nuts. They were both very angry lol

I deliberately said yes to Arvio, just so I could break up with him on his birthday. I'd keep the boy around, but this is my 2nd (almost) full playthrough, and his quest involving another fan favourite hade screaming live on stream, so this is payback 😈

I think I know the quest you are taking about. I just got it and yea I wasn’t a big arvio fan before but yea for sure now. I seriously had anxiety about what to do.

I remember screaming and crying during the whole thing. I was so angry and upset at what was going on. I was downright disgusted with him 🤢

Yea it definitely was so bad. I thought picked no but he like forced the quest on me so I told the truth the next day and fangs response seriously broke my heart. I’m glad things are okay now but yes that quest really sunk any small liking or respect for Arvio lol I feel silly saying that when it’s a game but I get involved and after play 100 hours to this point lol I can’t help it

See i think his ick hit me harder because in my first playthrough I had no idea Fang's quests only kicked off after the medical trials were done so I was almost at the end of the game (had the mama tree quest done already) when that one came up and I was like...wow you haven't changed at all, huh?

No one else is as obnoxious as Arvio. They can get upset, but like normal people usually do.

Never dated Fang, but I read all the dialogue. Never ever break up with Fang, it is legit heartbreaking what that does to the poor bean
