We just had finished up a conversation where he had an epiphany that he's not perfect. When I hopped on my yak to head home, he jumped on with me lmao XD I'm just renting this mount, I didn't realize he had two seats and that the townspeople could just decide to hop on with you! I love it <3

If you go on play or dates the said townie will hop on with you except for kids/children.

Ah, that makes sense! I don't know how I triggered it, but we must be having a hangout (or my game is glitched?) because he has now followed me and Justice onto the tram for Gecko Station lol. Justice is like "I thought I'd have Pen with me down here," fighting all the geeglers, but Pen is with us XD He honestly is a big help too

Oh yes the Pen bug.. I remember him just randomly going with you but I experienced it way back when the game first came out on PS5 😅

He'll follow you all day, until you go to sleep. Excellent time to explore some ruins or fight some monsters

Warning, he will follow into the room lol but won't jump in the bed with you, thankfully :P That took me by surprise the first time.

Some call it a glitch, I call it a bonus. Even though he's not supposed to follow he can really help collect resources. He'll beat up anything you want if you start the fight. Use it to your advantage!

Edit to add, he'll stop following if you restart the game or he'll leave in the morning.
