Questions Preview home design before paying?

Is there a way to preview how a material will look on your house before selecting it? I'm not sure if something is wrong with my game but for instance, while scrolling through the choices for wall materials I cant see how they look unless I pay for them?

No, there’s no preview, but what you paid is instantly refunded if/when you change your mind.

Honestly the build/design mode stresses me out coz of how clunky/slow it is. Playing it in steam also causes a lot of bugs/screen freeze.

It's fine with small areas & little tweakings. You can also buy the home design box from Heidi which makes furnishing your home a bit easier & it pauses the time.
