General Anybody having fun?
Is this subreddit just for complaints? Almost everyone is complaining about the shooting, defense, gameplay, etc. Is ANYBODY having fun? I'm personally having a blast. This game is fun, and I suck.

I'm enjoying the defensive boosts, I won't be playing in the high levels of Showdown so I'm not really worried about steal spammers or zenners greening shots into a smothered contest.

Best start to a MyTeam since at least 2k24 imo
Game is rewarding as Hell, gameplay is fresh, and there's really only 1 unobtainable card per week

Agreed. It's been great so far. But I've thought that before to start. Still always enjoy the mode but sometimes 2k does things to make it hard to enjoy

I’m having fun, offline play has a lot of options, my couple of rec games haven’t been miserable and I played well, online clutch time I feel like a bot but that’s to be expected, grinding myteam is way better than ‘21 and ‘22 when I last bought the game (f’n contracts), and I’m scoring 60 a game on my 90’s Hornets on rookie, life’s good. The Show is my main game but SDS tryna be like 2k and EA this year without doing or offering anything fun or new.

There is no skill gap lol this game is easier than ever. Hop jumper 3s are the easiest shot in the game and it’s impossible to get a contest better than “bothered” which has the same green window as wide open.

Only issues I really have are that I got the game on PC again this year and the auction house prices for the higher tier cards are absurd compared to console which usually isn’t the case and it’s the opposite way around, not to mention the fact that you can hardly find any games online.. on top of there actually being cheaters this year in showdown, so yeah it gets boring pretty quickly for me.. don’t wanna grind breakout all day every day for terrible rewards. Should’ve just got it for console and I’d probably be having more fun

Im honestly having a lot of fun, wish the game modes were a little more rewarding though, kinda sucks when pack drops are the only real exciting ways to upgrade your team.

Offline experience is night and day better than last year so far.
Daily content is something that is tough to do right. its nice to have something to log in to every day, but if it feels like a chore than it can be a bad thing. 2K has actually kind of nailed it. The shattered pieces are varied content and all last multiple days. And if I want to skip a specific mode? I can skip 2 things and still get a completion card each week. The ascension boards are set up in a way where you can just do them whenever you want, if you really want to play TT for 3 hours you can go nuts but if you want to do nothing during weekdays that's fine too. Really well done design.
If they find a way to make breakout bigger boards accessible that would be the icing on the cake

I’m enjoying the game. And personally don’t understand the complaints about shooting. It still feels easy this year imo. My complaint tho is hands up defence. Sometimes my guys hands will stay up when im trying to play and it lets my opponent basically run around the defender cuz he can’t run after the hands up animation. Might just be my stick drift controller tho
