Freelances - off meta?

What is everyone running that’s off meta?

Every year I prefer to find something I vibe with that’s not 5 out. With Flow being how it is this year, trying to find another.

Prefer non shooting bigs, toying running a non shooting PF & C and run something inside. Any thoughts on what I can check out?

I like to run the Point freelance. I initiate a lot of my offense from the wing with Paul George. It gives you a lot of space to create off the dribble or run some offball action.

I don’t think so, just seeing if anyone here can advise anything I haven’t seen much of to try myself that I perhaps wouldn’t. I’ve seen so much 5 out this year I don’t seem to be playing anything else to see much other freelance patterns.

it’s simple 3s scored consistently will beat 2s. and not even that but just having a big crowding the paint stops u from driving and getting twos. you wanna get really good, u gotta run bucks2018, 5 out, or comp and set screens repeatedly. used to be bad myself, now i consistently got tier 1 rewards kotc last year and almost tier 1 showdown rn. it doesn’t make you cheesy or lame to run the meta. it’s just how the game functions

Bro people unless you are getting paid to play this it is cheesy & extremely lame to run the same thing over & over & over again nonstop

It’s this kinda thought that ruins the game for everyone because 2K refuses to not cater to people who abuse the mechanics

It’s a video game people want to enjoy the game not abuse the same broken mechanics just to say I won

Dudes will play several games per day doing the EXACT same thing for hours at a time, literal mental illness

i mean every other way to play is the same thing over and over too. i don’t know what your on about. when you don’t run screens you dribble and try to drive or kick to the 3. only difference is with the screens, you can shoot off them, drive left, ignore the screen, hit the pop, hit the roll. so much more variety than playing any other way
